Properties:
Manganese has a melting point of 1245oC,specific gravity of 7.2.Ordinary manganese is a hard and brittle gray-white metal .It is chemically reactive and slowly decompose cold water. Manganese metal is ferromagnetic after special treatment.
The main application of electrolytic manganese metal flakes:
Manganese is an important alloying agent. It is added to improve the strength, toughness, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, and hardenability of steels. Together with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys. Manganese dioxide is used as a depolarizer in dry cells and as a decolorizing agent for glass that has been colored green due to iron impurities. The dioxide is also used in drying black paints and in the preparation of oxygen and chlorine. Manganese colors glass an amethyst color and is the coloring agent in natural amethyst. The permanganate is used as an oxidizing agent and is useful for qualitative analysis and in medicine. Manganese is an important trace element in nutrition, although exposure to the element is toxic in higher quantities.
Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

- At that time in metal, there was two sub genres 1)new metal 2)nu metal 1) new metal was creating stuff with in boundaries of metal like lamb of god and Machine head, they were heavy but not old school like black sabbath not that thrash like big four and others (they became known after grunge (nirvana) era because no metal bands survived in that era except Pantera) so they became new metal and they weren't big in numbers. 2) and in nu metal bands started using turntables and ****, they mixed rap and metal,In mainstream the did massive impact so basically new metal wasn't grew that much. And SOAD sounded different than both sub genres.but critics added them in nu metal(they were in nu metal scene though and forcely pushed into nu metal) But most of metal bands diehard fans appreciate them than nu metal guys.so they were kind of metal. And those different subgenres is for classification its not any kind of competition so chill. Hope this helped thanks.:)

- Metal fan. I think it's a good source for getting information on many metal bands but for the most part, I don't care for it at all. I think it's little more than the metal elitist capitol of the internet. The moderators that run it just love thinking that they're the ones who say what metal is and isn't and are some of the biggest metal elitists you'll find on the internet. They completely forbid genres like nu metal and glam metal (despite having M?tley Crüe and Twisted Sister archived under heavy metal lol) and yet according to them, Rush is officially a metal band. They don't even allow bands that have had major influences on heavy metal like Blue ?yster Cult and Van Halen. Not even Led Zeppelin is allowed in the archives. To me, to not allow those bands is very misleading. Especially not allowing Led Zeppelin; whether you see them as metal or not, there's no denying that they're one of the biggest pioneers of heavy metal. So yeah, I think the Metal-Archives are a joke and little more than a limited encyclopedia for metal elitists.

- I don't know the process but be sure that if it can be done without platinised electrodes then thats the method that would have been used.You dont need high conductivity but you probably need the catalytic properties and chemical inertness of a platininum surface.Just from the electrolysis point of view graphite(pencil lead)might be worth studying.and it'scheap and there!
