Q: ok, so i need vermiculite and can't buy it online. iv'e checked all the average stores that said they have the item on location on their websites, but when i get to the store they don't have it!!!! i live in houston texas off westhiemer and fondren near the galleria, can anyone tell me somewhere that actually has the item at the store near my location? thanks in advance: You need a incubator or they won't stand a chance.

Q: I have 4 green anoles. They are paired into 2 separate tanks, with plenty of space. There is one male and 1 female in each tank. My younger couple seemed to be courting yesterday night but I am not sure. My older couple doesnt get close to eachother often. The average temperature in the tank is 84 degrees. The substrate is desert sand(I bought some eco earth today to replace the sand).. Also, I bought 30 adult female crickets from Petco. I plan on using eco earth as a substrate for them. I was using potting soil before, and they laid PLENTY of eggs, but none hatched.The average temperature was about 85 degrees.It is going to be winter time soon(I'm not sure how helpful that may be)I have an incandescent light fixture for the crickets, and a flourescent UVB bulb for the anoles What do I need to do to keep them moist and warm so they can hatch, and how do I get the anoles to have babies? Q: I really want a frog but im not sure what I need like what type of food and such. I‘m planning on getting a green tree frog: talk to a Vet for the medical treatment stand point, talk to the pet store about the food and get books or educate yourself on the temperature, environment, cage, what to avoid and so forth. It is really important to do research on how to properly care of your pet. This type of animals carry salmonella which is dangerous for us humans, so be careful where you get this frog.

Q: any advice for a beginner to raise them and make sure they will all hatch properly---any advice at all, temp, humidity, enclosure, etc. Thanks! As for what you will get, all of the babies will be normals unless your female is carrying the gene for albinism, then you will get half normals and half albinos.

Q: i have a baby gecko - not older than a few months, and she just layed eggs, like an hour ago D:i made an incubator a while back, and i dont know why but i just turned it on today (lucky eh)its basically a lunchbox with a cricket box with damp vermiculite inside. its at about 85F now.lt;since my gecko is only a baby herself, i‘m aware they probably arent fertile, but stillgt;she layed them on top of the laying box i gave her, but one of the eggs was stuck tight onto it - anything i can do about this?(i wasnt sure, so i cut out that bit of the lid with the egg and and put that in the incubator)nowhere i looked says anything about the humidity in the incubator, so does anyone have any ideas about that too?and is there anything i can feed my little gecko to get her back upto strength - she‘s too small for pinkies.Thanks :): try crickets powdered with calcium. A lot of geckos have low calcium so this is necessary. Why are you breeding her this young if she's too little to have babies? it's not healthy. and you probably won't be able to get the stuck egg off without breaking it. You should keep the eggs in an air tight container and only air it once or twice a month. Don't keep the heat that high, try around 76 degrees and keep it constant! it's hard to keep gecko eggs, so good luck and research it next time.

The volume ratio of cement and expanded vermiculite is generally 1:5, which is economical and reasonable. Cement and sand aspect than the general 1:1. Site inspection method: mix the cement paste with fine powder and knead it by hand.

Q: I used miracle grow vermiculite (i know its bad), i used warm water to kill/get rid of the fertilizer.Its been several weeks. The eggs are nice and plump. One of them seems bloated while the other is plump. Is the eggs okay?: None of those are good heat conductors.
