- Q: Excuse me a flower peat and perlite vermiculite proportion?
- To put it simply, perlite is good for drainage and EC in the vermiculite balance medium. If you are a master, and use moss peat, proficient in watering, it can not be useful vermiculite and perlite
- Q: last night my bearded dragon layed her eggs in her large water bowl,i didntsee them till this morning. she layed 22 all together. i took them out and put them in the container with vermiculite and into the incubator. that was 5 hours ago now. they are still very plum and if i candlelight them i can see the pink spot inside, only thing is they have a yellow tint to them and smell. is there any chance there still alive?what should i do please help!!
- i am sorry but i do not think so but there is a chance they will
- Q: getting a leopard gecko?
- ethier you die or put out fire and by more blankets
- Q: Okay, i wanna make sure i did everything right. Okay so i got magic mushrooms spores (panama strain) and okay so i got the vermiculite, as directed, and brown rice flower, and put a bit of perlite. okay so once i made the mix i put it into 5 cups and injected the spores into the cup and put another layer of tin foil( so there‘s two layers of tin foil on it) okay, so after i did that i put a towel over it and put it in my closet a dark one, is there anything i need to do to make sure it grows, or just leave it? please tell me if i did anything wrong and this is just hypithectical, if i were to do this.
- Make sure it gets alot of light and you sshould be all set.
- Q: So I am going to have a styrofoam cooler thing then I will have a under tank heater at the bottom. I'm going to put the leopard gecko eggs in a plastic tupperware filled with perlite or vermiculite (I don't know which one is better) on top of the heatmat. It won't melt right?? maybe I will put a towel between the under tank heat and the tupperware so it doesn't get too hot? I also will have a thermostat and a thermometer on top of the closed tupperware. Do I need to poke holes in the tupperware so when the eggs hatch the leo's can breath when they hatch? Does that sound good? Did I miss anything?? Thanks for any help!
- ok so we've been given a bearded dragon and she or he has eggs like countless 20 weeks and she or he hasnt mated so as that they are in basic terms the outdoors of the egg like they dont have an genuinely infant interior.. she would be ready to proceed to place those eggs till she has a mate hence she would be ready to then have actuall eggs :)
- Q: Hi. My sulcata just lay 20 eggs. I have a chick incubator that was given to me. What are the procedure that is needed to incubate my sulcata eggs? I'm been doing some research online some say to incubate them in a closed container, and some say to incubate them in an open container? Can Yahoo Answer provide me with a definite answer as to how to incubate the eggs? Also a exact detail as to what are the procedure and what stuff to look for doing incubation. Do I need to spray mist water on the eggs? Thanks.
- It is also called Vermiculite in Denmark:
- Q: Have a butterfly bush, want to make more bushes. Do I just cut from anywhere on plant, put in water and wait to root.Thx
- To root a butterfly bush you dig a small trench next to the bush and lay a branch in the trench and put a stone or other weight on top. I'm not sure on what the time frame is for it to take root, but it should be rooted by next spring, or maybe by this fall
- Q: My worm farm says to sprinkle a handful of soil every time I add food scraps. I‘m just wondering if it‘s okay to use potting mix?
- Potting mix usually contains sphagnum, peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, wetting agents, fertilizer and so on. It's not really considered soil. If you have some that has no fertilizer in it, it would be ok to use. If you are going to buy anything, buy a bag of quality top soil. That would be a better choice.
- Q: Are expanded perlite and expanded vermiculite the same substance? What's the difference between them? What's the matter?
- Expanded perlite: a natural silicic lava volcano non-metallic minerals, including perlite, pitchstone and obsidian, but three kinds of crystal water content are different. At the 1000 to 1300 degrees under the conditions of the rapid expansion of the volume of 4 to 30 times, it is referred to as the expanded perlite
