Magnesium oxide board is combined system of Mgo, MgCl2 and H2O and alkali . The stable magnesium colloid is reinforced by middle alkali glass fiber net and stuffed by light material then becomes new frame less decorative material. Especially the unique waterproof, fireproof, corrosion proof and plasticity are better than normally used wooden multisplint, paper surface plaster board etc.

Main characteristics

Water proof
Through experiment and test, after this material has been immersed in the water for one month, it keeps its original shape, without deformation or expansion, its dry-wet deforming ratio is 0.26%, its water absorbing capacity is 15%, especially the creasing resistance is 15Mpa under the dry condition and 22 Mpa under the moisture absorbing condition, i.e. the strength under the moisture absorbing condition is highter.

Fire proof

Q: My bearded dragon layed 13 bright white eggs two days ago. I put them in vermiculite in a container inside a 10 gallon tank with a cup of water and a thermometer. I have been trying to keep the temp in the 80‘s but sometime it gets into the 90‘s. I try and keep the soil moist by adding water to it. Some of the eggs are starting to collapse. The guy at the pet store said to add more water. I did and it hasn‘t helped. What am I doing wrong?? What can I do for the eggs so the will hatch.: Try burning a candle in the tank the warmth will help.

Q: can i use a 10 gallon tank soil/vermiculite and a heat lamp while misting tank every few hours to have a successful reptile egg incubator: yes and really all you should do is get wet sand that has been rung out through a strainer then put it in the tank use a paint brush or something like it and brush the sand around it but not on it then keep in warm with the heat lamp mist it at least twice a day.p.s. Just remember that red eared slider eggs must stay face up. Hard to explain but do not move it's placement. For example, Keep the side of the eggs that was facing up, actually facing up. So if you put a dot on top of the egg and move the egg to your potting soil, make sure that dot is facing up.

I think that the R value is less than more conventional insulation and I'm sure that it would be harder to install. Not sure how you would install it short of blowing it in as you would with cellulose insulation.
