1.Company Introduction Company Introduction:

Our company deal with Vermiculite for over 15years. We has being exporting vermiculite to Japan,Korea,Middle east,USA,Russia market, our capacity per year is around 6000-1000Ton,with compatitive price, best service, accept quality, gets high reputation from our old and new customers.

2.Vermiculite Introduction:

Our vermiculite, we have both crude vermiculite and exfoliated vermiculite in two types: one is Silver-grey type ( Fe2O3 content around 5-8%, similar with South Africa vermiculite); the other type we call Golden-yellow type (Fe2O3 content around 16-23%, similar products with India and Australia). The white type mainly used in refractories/insulations, the golden yellow type mainly used in agriculture and horticulture. If used for agriculture and horticulture, we suggest you use golden vermiculite, because its PH is 6.5-7.2, for silver gray vermiculite, its PH is 8.5-9.5, that's to say, compared with silver vermiculite, golden vermiculite is more neutral. In Japan, Korea market, our customers choose golden vermiculite used for agriculture and horticulture.

Q: Hi what minerals (else Kaolinite) are disturbed when heated up to 500 degree ?
when you're slowing down to brake completely put the car in neutral instead of pressing down on the clutch so much
Q: My bearded dragon layed 13 bright white eggs two days ago. I put them in vermiculite in a container inside a 10 gallon tank with a cup of water and a thermometer. I have been trying to keep the temp in the 80‘s but sometime it gets into the 90‘s. I try and keep the soil moist by adding water to it. Some of the eggs are starting to collapse. The guy at the pet store said to add more water. I did and it hasn‘t helped. What am I doing wrong?? What can I do for the eggs so the will hatch.
Try burning a candle in the tank the warmth will help.
Q: what is this white stuff that they put in the potted plant ?
Hello, 1. Okay I use Vermiculite for breeding crickets, this is used for Tarantula or snake bedding. You need to soak dry Vermiculite for up to 24 hours, although it may be more costly than other beddings, you don't need to use much,as it expands when soaked. This creates a perfect egg laying ground. 2. You can buy a small heat mat,for reptiles etc,but I find room temputure is perfectly suitable. Hope I helped.xxx ADD: Yes I forgot to say,Peat moss is also ideal a few people use plain play sand, reptile sand is better as it won't contain possible bacteria. A tub is fine,as long as they do get some light. Ensure they aren't over crowded as this will 'breed' bacteria. I wouldn't of thought a heat mat could melt plastic, they generally don't get hot enough. My lizards have heat mats, which they sit on! Remember, since the tub has limited ventilation using a heat mat may be too much. :) x
Q: I just bought a house with a half dead lawn that requires lots of water. The soil here has lots of clay in it and as a result, doesn't hold water well and needs excessive watering to keep a lawn green. My neighbor lives on a hill and reseeded his whole yard only to have his back yard (uphill) die on him because all the water ran down hill. Question is, how would I use vermiculite, perlite, or anything else to help my lawn retain water? I have used Scott's turf builder in an attempt to spread the roots of the grass and my lawn looks 100% better, but it still needs lots of water :(
Can have asbestos in it, especially in the past.
Q: Hi I am in the process of buying a house that has been remodeled- had the inspection and the inspector went to the attic and found vermiculite on the floor.. mixed in with other insulation.. To have an abatement done will be very very costly.. I want to be able to use this attic to store things- what is the best way to do this without health risks? again, I prob wont do the abatement.. any help you can offer would be great!!
Pearlite being spherical it should have better strength. Expanded styrofoam pellets are also useful, as is fly ash [hollow tiny glass spheres]
Q: Besides spores obviously.More along the lines of soil composition, climate and how exactly to plant them.
It would depend upon the type of mushroom. Some require hardwood, some grow on straw, etc. eg: Agaricus - generally require composted straw/dung. Shittake - requires hardwood Oyster mushrooms - will generally grow on paper or cardboard or straw Psilocybe mushrooms - mostly grow on straw / dung, or man made substrates (eg corn flour and vermiculite) - although there are some wood loving members of the family Morel mushrooms - require a certain ratio of carbon - usually as burnt wood - which is why they often spring up after fires and floods. Truffles - require a certain blend of minerals in the soil along with symbiosis with certain trees. all require moisture some do very well with high levels of co2, some don't - so some will do well without much ventilation, others will fail. Some require light to fruit, others dont. Some fruit depending upon CO2 concentrations, some fruit mainly due to drops in temperature. Asking what fungi like is like asking what animals eat or how to make plants grow, it's the third major group - it really does depend on the fungus. If you're growing from scratch, and outdoors, you're best germinating the spores to porduce spawn first, then using this to innoculate the growing medium - then cover with plastic until the medium has been grown through.
Q: Okay, so I have injected mushroom spores in vermiculite brown rice flower, and a bit of perlite and there in my closet is there anything I should do besides leav them there?
If you want a specific answer, you need to ask specific questions... How much does something extremely light weigh? What are the dimensions of a small scale application? How much is the smallest space possible? If you can't afford aerogels, how much can you afford? How much heat are you worried about? What is the highest temperature the insulation will see?
Q: The instructions say place in a ziplock bag with damp, not wet, vermiculite. then put in the fridge for 90 to 120 days. I‘m assuming this would be the necessary cold spell they need. I dont have any vermiculite and the nearest place that does is 70 miles east out of my way. would a moist paper towel do?Thank you.
some moss, even peat moss from a garden center, mixed with regular potting soil close enough.
Q: They are in an outdoor pen and she has layed them also covering them with about half in of soil. Last time the eggs were eaten by possums but the possums can no longer get in the pen.
Very carefully remove the eggs. Pick them up the exact same way it was laid. Rotating the eggs can kill the developing turtle. Place the eggs into small containers halfway full with damp vermiculite. The containers with the eggs should then be placed in an incubator. The best way to provide a safe incubator container is to take a plastic aquarium and place two bricks on their side at the bottom. Place the plastic container that contains the eggs on top of the two bricks and heat the water 82oF (28oC) with an aquarium heater. Cover the aquarium with pane of glass to ensure the heat and condensation stays with the incubator. It is essential to make sure the glass is slanted so that any condensation does not drip onto the turtle eggs as this can kill the embryos. The ideal humidity level for turtle eggs is between 95-100%. You can measure the level of humidity with a hygrometer hung on the aquarium wall. To tell when the egg is fertilized, hold the egg between your thumb and forefinger in front of a bright light. If the egg is fertilized, you will be able to see dark blood vessels inside even at an early stage. As time goes by, the blood vessels will turn into a dark area as the turtle develops. Unfertilized eggs show a light area around the air pocket inside the egg and a dark area at the drying yolk. An unfertilized egg will also begin to lose weight over time whereas fertilized eggs gain weight. If a turtle embryo dries in the egg, do not assume it is a mistake you made. The likely cause is because of the parent's diet. The amount of time it takes for a turtle to hatch depends on the species. Once it begins to hatch, it can take one to three days for the turtle to fully hatch. You should never disturb the turtle and never try to speed up the hatching process. Leave the hatchlings in the incubator for a few days until the yolk on the naval has fully shrivelled and fallen off. Good luck :)
Q: I am out of perlite. I need to keep humidity up as high as possible in a very small container. I am growing a plant that thrives in high humidity..anyway, what is a household alternative for perlite/hydroton rocks? Is there anything I can use to keep up humidity? Soaked paper towels? Wouldn't that be a breeding ground for bacteria? thanks
The kitties may be altering the ph of the soil. I would have it checked. You can get a home ph tester at farm and garden and some big box stores or check with your local Ag Cooperative Extension office to see who else can do this for you. I would mix the soil really well to get a better over all test but check with the agent to see what they recommend. Vermiculite would only make the soil lighter. You want the soil to form a crumbly ball when wet. This assures the soil will both drain well but still hold enough water for the plants. good luck.
