- Q: What is the iron curtain?how can i draw a political cartoon on it?
- The term iron curtain was coined by Winston Churchill in a 1946 speech. He used it to describe the division of Europe between the free west and Soviet controlled east. Maybe you could draw theater curtains descending behind Churchill or on top of Germany.
- Q: Are iron supplements taken from animals?
- I think that they use iron fillings found in iron deposits. I know that you could take a box of cold cereal and put it in a food processor and use a magnate and take out the particles of iron in it.
- Q: Would he be Super Iron Man?
- He'd be Superman wearing the Iron Man armor.
- Q: and why do some people have normal hemoglobin levels but iron deficiency?
- no, i hope you are kidding. Actually if you bring helium to the pressure of 30-40psi you couldn't even tell. And just so you can say you learned something today, i fill my tires with nitrogen, the larger molecules leak out slower.
- Q: Looking to get a new set of irons toward the end of this years golf season and just sort of starting to look into planning for what I should look for. I currently have the Ping g10‘s. Starting to grow out of them and my swing coach recommends a bit different style as well. What I mean is he said that I should look for irons right in between blades or players irons and game improvement irons. Kind of like a half blade iron. Not fully sure what I should look for. Any recommendations? Please give more than just the brand.
- Nike Pro Combos. Great mix between cavity backs and blades. A little more like a cavity for 3-5 iron to help get those longer iron shots airborne, and more like blades for shorter clubs to give you the most shot-making ability. Solid clubs. Even Tiger, I believe, used a Pro Combo 3 iron for some time before switching to the Pro Blade to complete the set.
- Q: Our teacher gave me a sheet to study on for a test and i dont know the answer to 1 questionit says to discuss how the chemical differences between the iron in the tablets and the iron in the nails are related to their uses
- I think Iron is just Iron, it does not change
- Q: What are the iron rich foods ?especially for 3 yr old child
- Red meat is the richest source of iron. The iron in animal sources is absorbed easily by the body. Liver also but it contains high levels of vitamin A, intake of which needs to be kept below a certain level. Cereals and pulses, fortified breakfast cereals and leafy veg may all be high in iron but this is less easily absorbed by the body. Can I recommend that you look at this site? www.eatwell .uk/healthissues/i. The extent to which your body can absorb the iron in the foods that you are eating can depend on what you eat the iron rich foods with.
- Q: When you take iron and sulphurs particles and add them up the change them into iron sulfide. Why does it still have the same amount of particles?
- The reaction is probably: 2Fe(s) + 3S(s) -- Fe2S3(s) When you say amount of particles, that's imprecise. Do you mean number, mass, or what? I assume you mean number. I also wonder if by particles you mean atoms. Because there's no way you're going to end up with the same number of particles in that reaction. Let me expain: If this reaction involved molecules - separate particles - you definitely wouldn't end up with the same number of particles. For every five reactant particles you started out with, you would end up with one particle of product. BUT this is not a reaction involving molecules, it is a reaction involving ions. And ions aren't usually present as separate particles; they're present as a network solid - a chunk of ions all lined up together in an orderly matrix. The problem is that even if the chunk counts as one particle, you are STILL starting with two chunks and ending up with one. If the question is, why does it still have the same number of atoms, that's easy: because the atoms don't get created or destroyed during the reaction, they just get rearranged. If you look at the equation, there are two Fe's to start with and two at the end of the reaction as well - the only difference is that before the reaction happens, the Fe's are stuck together. and after the reaction, they're separated from each other and instead combined with S's. I hope this helps.
- Q: Im an anemic with prenisious anema (anemia) and have trouble keeping my iron levels up my doctor has subscribed irion suppliments that sometimes act if though they don‘t work fast enough can i get some help on high iron foods to eat,.
- Galvanising is coating with zinc. Zinc and copper react with each other if the water passing through them is slightly acidic to produce a small electric current. The zinc gets taken off the iron, particularly with galvanised hot water cylinders, and produces a black sludge. The iron is no longer protected by the zinc (which was its original function) and rusts through. Use all copper, it's cheaper in the long run.
