Q: sometimes i feel tired sometimes very tired. I went to bed about 11 and got up about qaurter to 7 so should i be tired or have i had lack of sleep? i am a vegetarian so i dont think i have enough iron is irin in fish? please help coz i hate feeling tired! lol
For a vegetarian a good source of iron is nuts and some extra vitamin C will help to absorb more. Bread and cereals contain a bit of iron as well. There is very little iron in fish. If you are deficient in iron don't donate blood. If you are overloaded with iron, which can form iron plaque on your artery walls similar to cholesterol deposits, then do donate blood. Organic iron such as ferrous gluconate is absorbed better than inorganic iron such as ferrous sulphate, if you wish to take iron supplements.
Q: I have low iron. I always have, but now it‘s worse than ever and I feel kinda sick from it. But I‘m not sure what iron even does or why I feel sick from not having enough.
iron keeps you healthy and if you have high iron it will be rare for you to get a cold. basiclly your immune system is a little low and in youyr case is easier for to get sick and is easy to pass out and have amnesia (forget often) and i hope this helped
Q: Like what does the iron aid in or do? Basically why is there iron in red blood cells
The crimson blood cells are crammed with hemoglobin, a biomolecule that would bind to oxygen. In people, the crimson blodd cells lack a nucleus or subcellular organelles. crimson blood cells in mammals have nuclei for the period of early stages of progression, yet extrude them as they mature with the intention to furnish greater area for hemoglobin. in addition they lose their different organelles inclusive of their mitochondria.
Q: If I soak 5 grams of iron filings in 125 mL of water, does the mass of iron go up or down?
The Iron will turn to iron oxide (rust) thus increasing its mass by taking oxygen from the water.
Q: Iron deficiency ANEMIA. What foods to eat to get 18mg of iron a day?
Well you can always take iron supplements but they will constipate you. Best take iron rich foods and take VITAMIN C with them too as it helps you absorb iron. Here is a list of some Iron rich foods: Foods that are a good source of iron include: (liver, lean red meats, including beef, pork, lamb--just so others know too ) seafood, such as oysters, clams, tuna, salmon, and shrimp, etc. beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens (the darker the green the more iron) tofu vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts chicken and turkey blackstrap molasses nuts egg yolks dried fruits, such as raisins, prunes, dates and apricots (and probably PURE juices from these are rich too)
Q: My doctor said I have really low iron and that its a huge problem and I‘m gona have to go in for checkups every 6 weeks. Ik I sound dumb but I‘m curious what might happen if I continue to have low iron.
well it is affecting your blood, you need it to keep your blood healthy. he should have told you what to eat to improve your levels so food rich in iron, and of course he may have given you iron tablets. hopefully these measures will work.
Q: I am 39 female with a history of anemia. I‘ve been on straight iron on and off since 2004. Is there another way for me to build iron?
The easy answer to your question is to eat black molasses. Nothing has more.
