Q:What does CNC in machinery stand for?
Computer Numerical Control
Q:I live near a forestry reserve, some of the plantations are being harvested. In photography we have to make a photobook, mine is based on forestry machinery. I have photos already but these were only taken when the machinery are stationery and the workers have finished for the day. Any suggestions on how I could get a few good photos of these magnificent machines while they are in action? I live in the green triangle area, most of the plantations are managed by forestry SA, this is an Australian company, so if you are Canadian or come from another country with a lot of experience in the field of pine felling, your thoughts would be most appreciated!
Show up in the middle of the day, when they're still working. (Is this a trick question?)
Q:Which prescription drug goes best with Jack Daniels when operating heavy machinery?
Valium a lot more effective than straight ecstasy
Q:i need to know what are the machinery and equipment needed to start a pectin extraction job.any websites or additional information would be helpful.thanks
I don't know the exact names for the equipment but you'll need a pulverizer,(grinder) and a dryer. The best type of pectin comes from limes. See if any of this helps?
Q:Is technology (phones, tv, internet, machinery) destroying human relationships?I personally believe it is in little ways. 1.) Advertisements are continually cheapening human interaction. Example: the man who is talking about finding his queen and we think he is talking about a woman but no he is talking about a sofa. 2.) Face to face interaction has become less and less important in society. We are all on our phones, watching TV or on our computers sending text messages or on facebook. 3.) Everywhere you look people are not looking at the person they are talking to, they are too busy with gadgets. I mean who here has been annoyed becuase the person they were talking to was texting?4. We now have more ways than ever to communicate but we are farther apart than we have ever been.So basically my question is, Do you think technology is good or bad for humans?
It's certainly not destroying human communication. In fact, in terms of breadth and scope, and in terms of the number of people an average person might communicate in the course of a day, it's increased human communication hugely. It is, however, causing a raid development in human communication. You note that we seldom seem to speak face to face anymore. That's certainly true, and yet how many more people per day do you think our ancestors spoke to face to face than we do today? As a percentage, surely a lot more, but in absolute numbers? I'd suggest about the same. We talk to more people, from much wider areas than our ancestors ever dreamed of. You note that people that we do talk to often are also using gadgets. I have been annoyed by this trend, but I think of it as a part of that evolution I mentioned before. We tend to multitask now, more than ever. I'm not sure that frenetic pace is a good thing, however. Finally, your draw a conclusion that we are now farther apart than ever before. I'm not sure I agree, and I don't see any evidence to support your conclusion directly. I have internet pen pals from all around the world, and in some ways, I think the ease of long range communication has brought us closer together than was ever possible before. I talk to people daily who have completely different takes upon world events, based on their culture and upbringing, and I think that variety of opinion is very enlightening. At any rate, we are having to evolve. Our modes of behavior, our traditions are changing, and while it styresses those of us who are comfortable with the old, traditional ways of doing things, in just a few short decades, most of us will be gone, and our children will be lamenting the changes they see.
Q:How long did Noah take to design and build his 3 phase electronic machinery to build the Ark?
You are kidding me?
Q:why are damping devices often used on machinery?
Damping Devices
Q:Why havent this issue been on the news?? i mean, who is doing most work at factories to day? man or machine. Machines are. It aint odd that people cant find jobs. Today i saw the garbage truck picking up the garbage. Last year they had 3 guys standing in the back of the truck. this year its a robotic arm picking up the garbage and there for 3guys propably lost their jobs. Why aint this issue raised? can capitalism survive if the machines does most off the industrial work?sorry about the bad english
Cities and towns award garbage pickup contracts to the low bidder so those who bid high likely used manual pickup. The cost savings to the cities and towns results in lower taxes to homeowners who use these savings to purchase more food, clothing, home improvements, etc which put more people to work to supply these additional purchased gooda and services. So there likely is no net loss in jobs. Automation to reduce the cost of american made goods and services so that they are more competative with foreign made goods actually preserves jobs in the U S because the additional foreign purchases of American made goods increases the need for american workers to make these additional US made goods. We must learn how to keep the sale of our goods abroad equal or more than our purchase of foreign goods or we will surely lose more jobs. Since our labor costs/ hr are much greater, the only alternative is to reduce the man-hours to make products for sale abroad. Cheep foreign goods benefit the poor and middle class since the money they save by buying the cheeper foreign goods allows them to have more money to spend on other essentials made in america..
Q:Why do mechanical systems usually use nitrogen gas tanks instead of other gases in mechanical engineering?
The nitrogen inert gas has the advantages of stable and non burning, high purity nitrogen extraction, low cost and good compressibility of nitrogen,
