What is the tension in the left hand side wire?(g = 9.8 m/s2)Answer in newtons: 85kg. is 42.5kg each cable. 6.4/1.4 = 4.571:1 ratio. Add both sides. (440/5.571) x 4.571 = 361kg. Add the 42.5, = 403.52kg. 403.52 x 9.8 = 3,954.5N tension in left cable.

Q: Ok so i got a scaffold ear piercing about 6 weeks ago and by the two holes where it has been pierced its gone like lumpy an also at the top end of the piercing some skin has come down streched sort of so does anyone know if it will properly heal and the lumps go or does it stay like that? an is there anythin i can do to help it?: I used to have a scaffolding piercing but it didn't work out and now I have little bumps at where the 2 holes were. I recommend going to the doctors just to be safe as they will be able to give the best advice, I don't think you would want to end up with bumps on yours like mine. I hope this helps :)

Q: what should i do?? i've been washing it and leaving it to heal but im worried about it. i've had the piercing for 9 days now and i only noticed this yesterday. any ideas?: that means that was piercing wasn't done as well as it could have been. there is nothing you can do about it except take it out, let it heal, and have it re-pierced. go see your piercer. they should be able to tell you if it's a problem, and they should re-pierce it for free.

Q: does it hurt more than just getting your lobes pierced or the same?i just got a my ears pierced (so now i have two lobe piercing on each ear) it didn't hurt.i'm not sure if i should get it or not.: It is one of the more painful ear cartilage piercings and, as such, hurts more than getting your lobes pierced. Q: Would like to build a scaffold to use to paint interior of house using common materials (wood, PVC pipe, tubular steel etc) which I can buy at Home Depot and quot;boltquot; together. Top level only needs to be 6ft high to do what I need.......Any ideas or plans....rather than renting or buying a ready made one? Thanks: If you only need the top to be 6' high, why not rent one? Go to a rental yard and rent a baker. It's 6' tall, and has holes in the frame every 6 or so. This allows you to build it on stairs. It's a safe alternative to building your own. Hope this helps.
