Q: replacement battery and charger for gmc (global machinery company) 18v mag cordless drill?: All the answers are right new batteries would be more expensive than a new drill I was stung myself before! A word of warning though I am a joiner and used to always buy hitachi 10+ years ago but have found their new tools to be very unreliable I wouldn't touch them again lots of people I work with have also found this they rely more on fancy designs now. If the drill is not used every day a cheaper make would be better, not to cheap though, Ryobi is not bad for the money. If it is makita or panisonic is as good as you get. Splash out and get the makita 4 in 1 impact drill I have one you would not be disappointed.

What I would do, if possible, is try to find a replacement so that they won't be left shorthanded, that way the employer knows you at least tried. If you were a good employee the whole time you worked there, then not coming on the last day (for a legitimate and verifiable reason) shouldn't be an issue.
