- Q: I have been considering spending money to buy a fuel additive to increase my mpg and hopefully as an end result help me save money on gas. I am leery to start buying tablets though as it is an added expense in itself. Does anyone have any experience with diesel fuel additives? If so, can you recommend one that works?
- Try Howe's. If this doesn't improve your performance after one 1/2 gallon bottle then there may be something wrong with the engine or your driving habits are just too hard for to benefit from a diesel. Howe's is sold as an anti-gel but most of the old timers I use it year round. You can't add too much and it's a good back up if you gel up in winter. Just pull the fuel filters and pour the gelled fuel out and refill the filters with Howe's and add the rest to the diesel fuel. P.S. Something known only to old truckers. NEVER fuel up in Missouri. They water down the fuel (organized crime trick) and every driver I have ever spoken with has gelled up, sometimes right at the pump, from fuel purchased in Missouri. Good Luck!
- Q: How to do pesticide residues every day and food additives
- When we pack, dilute and spray pesticides, they will accidentally stick the pesticide in the hands, face and other skin parts exposed to the outside of the clothes. After the skin is contaminated with pesticides, then the pesticide is adsorbed, and then penetrate into the body, the formation of acute exposure. Different pesticides have different penetrating ability to the skin. Some pesticides are liquid and contain some organic solvents that are easier and faster to penetrate into the skin than solid-phase pesticides and water-based pesticides. If the skin is contaminated with many pesticides, in certain circumstances, in a few minutes to produce adverse health consequences. Once the pesticide into the dermis, reaching the skin of the capillaries, will soon enter the blood. Pesticides, even if only stay in the skin parts can also cause dermatitis, including irritating dermatitis and allergic dermatitis
- Q: what is the additive inverse of -2?
- Ewwww I would call Triple A! Good Luck
- Q: What is the additive inverse of a number ?
- The negative of that number. The additive inverse is the value that gives the additive identity (which is 0 because when you add 0 to any number you get that number back--the identity). So for instance the additive inverse of 1 is -1, the additive inverse of -36.3 is +36.3.and then the additive inverse of 0 is itself, 0.
- Q: What is Additive mixing and Multiplative mixing in AM reception?
- The two fundamental mixing modes are additive and multiplicative. Additive mixing is accomplished by adding the RF and Local Oscillator (LO) signals before applying them to a non-linear element. The large amplitude of the LO signal forces operation of the mixer device as a non-linear mixing element. Multiplicative mixing is accomplished when the RF and LO signals are applied to different terminals of the mixing element, with respect to a common terminal, such as in a double gate IGFET or a double balanced mixer (DBM). Additive mixing tends to yield a lower conversion gain, while multiplicative mixing with multi-electrode tubes tends to produce more noise unlike using a passive semiconductor DBM or DBM made with FETs which produce less noise.
- Q: What is the additive for rice flour?
- Rice powder raw material is rice, the rice washed and then ground into powder, add water into a paste, cage steam into a sheet, after cooling into a strip Serve Serve. Hand-made river powder white, and recently there are stores in which to join a variety of vegetable juice or fruit juice, made of colorful river powder.
- Q: -5/10, 13/6, -4/1Please Explain how to give these fractions a multiplicative and additive inverse! Help!
- multiplicative inverse is the same as reciprocal. It is what you multiply the fraction by to get 1. -5/10 ---- -10/5 13/6 ---- 6/13 -4/1 ---- -1/4 additive inverse is what you add to get 0, so basically it is just the opposite sign: -5/10 ---- +5/10 13/6 ---- -13/6 -4/1 ---- +4/1 that's it! ;)
- Q: is it possible to get rid of food additives/preservatives by boiling food at high temperatures? I know this works for bacteria but not so sure about the former.
- Nope. You need to start with fresh or frozen (most don't have anything added). It's better for you too. When in doubt.read the labels!
