They could be boring, it really depends on the RA and the students. I find that students on the quiet floor are more well behaved because they have to be so quiet all of the time. Throwing a party is pretty hard on the quiet floor. 3. The honors floor also tends to be well behaved, but isn't necessarily quiet. 4. I haven't, but my friend was the RA of the quiet floor. Quiet hours started at 5PM and she hated it (since she likes to play music and watch TV). Just because the floor you live on is quiet doesn't mean the floor above you will be. You still run the risk of not getting sleep on a quiet floor. The bottom line is that you can make friends in any dorm. It depends on you.
