I don't have a professional floor scrubber, so have just been using a mop, a scrub brush, and a wet/dry vaccuum. I have been using Zep Heavy Duty Floor Stripper. Are there any stronger floor strippers out there that I can use? Any suggestions or tips??

- Not sure where you live, but, surface temp has to be at least 50 degress in most situations. With concrete floor coatings, prep is the key. An acid solution is imperative to cleaning the floor and it will not harm any existing paint that may be there, it will only attact exposed concrete. A pressure washer is not needed for this application. The floor must dry for about a week. Follow instructions for whatever product that you use. Remember, the acid cleaning has to happen whether you use a latex, oil, epoxy or any other type floor paint. Wait until next summer, perfect months would be april, may, and august, september. good luck.

- 8 sheets and I'm going to say 3/4 plywood, now a days called 23/32 but a lot depends on whats under the floor now? Sub Floor? Joists? What are your final intentions as far as finished flooring are? Carpet? tile? Is it a mobile home or pier and beam construction? feel free to email with any more questions but anyhow it will take 8 sheets and 3/4 is the way to go, and more than likely is what is there now!! Have a great Day! You could make 7 sheets work if the joist are oriented in the right direction to allow ripping the last sheet 2 ft wide longways .good luck
