- If it runs on demand, whatever you put down will be correct. Let them prove you wrong! Or you could guestimate how long they are used each day and take the nameplate power rating off the machine, then do the math.

- what exactly will he want to do? technician or operator? what type of machine ? these fields aren't going anywhere and most of them are steady. pay can range from $30K - $40K depending where you live and your training level. as for moving up in the company.... no idea. it all depends if the company trains you or sends you out for more training. then yes, they will want to keep you longer if they are investing money in you and will give you raises to keep you happy.

- I have been going through that myself, Dad and Mom had a lot of stuff I thought might be antique or valuable. If you go on Ebay a lot of the stuff you think is antique is not just old. You can get a good idea what things are selling for but if you want a local appraisal I would suggest you talk to clerk at like Ace or Osh hardware stores they might be able to give you a name. (talk to the managers)
