Q: Im flying overseas soon with thai air and want to bring my mobile phone on the plane to listen to music my phone has an offline mode on it will i be allowed to use it on the plane im flying with thai air?: The problem is that flight staff are not trained in all the various cell-phones. You may have to show them the actual process of turning it into flight mode. Even so, the captain has final discretion. The problem is that devices such as cell phones have interfered with navigation instruments. It may be an inconvenience, but it is for your safety. This is one of the biggest problems with all in one phones. And also why I keep a small MP3 player in addition to a smart phone.
