- My daughter just turned two also. We put her in a toddler bed early because she could get out of her crib. We waited until she was almost falling asleep on the couch and put her in her room. We cut the door in half. So we could close the bottom portion and keep the top open . SHe couldnt get out but in case of an emergency we could get in. She does sometimes get up in the morning and will play in her room but there is nothing in there she can get hurt with and we keep a baby monitor in her room so we can here when she awakens. Tuck her in real tight before she goes to sleep and keep her favorite blanket or pillow with her. Good luck its an adjustment for them and it sometimes takes time. I got very lucky.

- I have tanned in both the sun and tanning beds and beds are def faster but the sun leaves my skin dryer and a lot tighter and rough feeling. I have heard from people who own tanning beds and such that tanning beds control the amount of UV radiation where as the sun does not. Your best bet is to go without either if you can, but if you must tan in a bed or in the sun, use a tanning lotion with some kind of SPF or use sunscreen...you will still tan even with sunblock on, it just blocks out the harmful UV rays. Oh and look for a lotion or sunblock with UVA and UVB protection because those are the 2 kinds of harmful rays. Hope this helps!

- Reconsider spending money on an entire crib bedding set. There all lovely looking, but it's recommended to not use the bumpers comforter as a SIDS prevention measure. All you really need are a bunch of crib sheets a crib skirt (well that's more for looks). Inexpensive cute at Wal-mart and Target.

- It honestly depends on the child. My son was so excited because it was a Big Boy bed so he was all for it. He got new bedding and a new pillow so he was ready to jump in. Some children don't like change so it's hard to transition. There are some books about getting a new bed out there and I would just praise her for being a big girl and maybe get her a bed buddy to sleep with.
