The Ceramic Fiber Needle-punching Blanket is made through intensive needle-punching processing.The product does not contain any bond or other compositions,and also no slag inclusion content. The intensive needle-punching technics improved the fiber intertexture and the resistance performance against delamination as well as the tensile strength.It have a good high temperature shrinkage after the heat treatment of 750-950 during the producing. Beside the charicteriatics in common,it have better sound insulation performance and mechanism strength,is easy to machining and install.

- Actually, most metals expand more than pottery/clay on heatingAlso, many metals will oxidize during the firing, (particularly when as fine particles) the particles often will grow considerably when they convert to oxide, so it might damage the ceramic ware, and you will actually have the metal partly or completely as the oxideThe presence of some of these metal oxides may lower the melting point of the ceramic enough that it might melt during firing, a fine mess in the kiln! Added: Why not just cook in a metal container then ? - Whenever you want to remove a smell try vinegar Wash the blanket with a couple of cups of vinegar in the water Fabrics get stiff because there is a buildup of soap on the fibersA fabric softener will coat the fibers in a perfumed waxVinegar will remove the buildup and soften the fibersVinegar does not smell when it is driedYour blanket will be soft and flufffy and will smell clean not sickly.
