Q: Say if you owned a grocery store and someone asked you for high fiber food with lots of vitamin A what foods would you recommend him or her?
Well to be honset you can do the experiment yourselfThe styrofoam is to just not damage the floorIf the guy above me is the case then if I drop a feather and a ball of iron it will land at the same time? I don't think soIts the bigger ball of iron that will land firstIts just gravityHeavier things falls first and faster than the smaller oneIts just common senseThough itmight be a little hard to tell as you're only relying on your eyes to see which one dropped first.
Q: Can someone explain yarn size terminology (eg20/2 cotton yarn)?
Aluminum Aluminum is an element (13), so it is a completely pure substanceI suppose you could say that it is made of electrons, protons, and neutrons, but I don't think you need that much depth.
Q: Need to get my fiber up.any food or drink suggestions?
Luckily, many foods are a good source of fiberMany fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, snack bars, and cereals can help you meet your daily fiber recommendationsJust remember that as you fiber up, get plenty of water as well.
Q: I cant put anything heavy in it beacuse it stretches all the way down to my legs lolWhat kind of yarn should I use? or what am I doing wrong?
No, you don't need to buy a new potI use my aluminum pots and have never had a problemPut your eggs in cold water and bring to a full boilIf you notice that any of your eggs crack add a little white vinegar and this will keep the egg from leaving the shellThen lower heat and let boil for 10-15 minutesDrain off water and rinse with cold water to stop cooking and helps keep yolk yellowPlace on paper towels or in colander to dry offYour ready to dye your eggs!
Q: I just put bag over the vents and noticed that other had not done soThat made me second guess if covering them was usefull.
Planned obsolescence is a conspiracy theorists concept of evil corporations raping consumersThere never was any realistic instance of design to self-destruct within a time spanReliability is a consumer's biggest demand, and companies that provide it are the ones that do the largest businessIn order for planned obsolescence to work, a new product must be more desirable so that consumers are willing to dispose of the old oneAverage lifespan is hard to say, much like cars or TVsSo much depends upon care and conditions of usageYou should get an easy 5 years out of it, if not 10 or moreAgain, it depends upon careWires can break if folded too tightly or washed too often, etcI tend to use a sheet between my body and blanket to reduce the actual washing cycle, and use Fabreze disinfectant and hanging on a line to periodically refresh it.
Q: I am trying to knit a pillow using the basic knit stitchThe only thing is that I don't know how to attach my two square pieces together that I knittedCan I run all the edges under a sewing machine like if I was making a pillow out of fabric? The needle I used to sew the squares is 10 1/2I am very new to knitting and don't know much!
Of course, you have made a piece of fabric, and you can sew fabric togetherFirst of all, you should block your piecesThat is, pin them out to size, and then either (a) mist them, and let dry (b) steam with an iron, but don't press them (c) wash them and then pin out to dryYou want the pieces to be both the same sizeThen, like all fabric, you pin them with RIGHT sides together, and sew with needle and thread by hand, with a stitch catching first one fabric, and then the other, and then back againDon't pull the yarn too tight, but make it firm so there isn't any slack in the yarnMake them neat and fairly close together so you don't have any spaces showingA machine doesn't work too well, since the two fabrics may be too thick, or you don't catch all the stitchesIt just looks better if you use a stitch by hand, with the same yarn you used in the knittingUse a large darning needle, with the blunt pointIt may take some time, but you put all the work into it this far, a few more minutes won't hurtBy doing the finishing really well, you will have put the final touch to make it something to be proud ofTake your time, do it rightWhen you have three sides done, and a bit of the fourth, turn it inside out, and stuff the pillow with a form, or stuffingThen finish that last side, and enjoy!!
Q: Okay,So you know velvet?i don't know if that's what its called, but where you can rub it one way and its soft, and you can rub it the other and its rough?i have always - since i can remember - had an issue with this fabricevery time i touch it i have to hold on to clench my fists together, press down on my nails extreamly hard, and bite all my fingernails offas time progressed its started progressing itself, at this point in time i can't touch velvet, fleece, yarn, swade, anything overly soft (other than silk)And then theres days where i can't touch paper, like today in class i couldn't touch/look at my book without flipping outi could touch my hair, i couldn't touch my shirt or jeans.the only thing i could do is rub my hands togetheris there something wrong with me?i mean im not a freak, im a normal teenage girl hahabut this is really getting too muchhelp.anyone?!
Look up sensory defensiveness - it's actually pretty common.
Q: I want to buy a cycling jersey ,but I am a beginner don't understand how can i buy a high quality cycling clothing, can anyone give me a idea?
gosh go to a bike store maybe? look at some.?
Q: Is there a brand ofkitten pacifiers? My kitten sucks its tail, and it's giving him hairballsPlease be seriousI am NOT kiddingThanks :DIf there IS a kitten pacifier, please include the link please :D
lol, that's SOOOO.CUTE!!!! ur best bet is to get a soft blanket, one that doesn't give off lint or fibers, poke ur finger thru a small part of it, and put it in the kitty's mouththe idea is that he will suck on it, and if you do it enough, you'll train him to suck on the blanket and not his tail, lol, his tail! how cute! eventually he should outgrow thisalso, in the meantime, brush his tail as often as you can to get rid of excess hair good luck! edit: once he takes the blanket in his mouth, pull ur finger out of course, so you're not always having to sit therehopefully he'll keep sucking on the blanket.
Q: anyone ever made a blanket using this type of yarn? preferably crochet but knitting answers are fine toojust want your feedback on this product.
Because this yarn is highly textured, you may find it a little harder to work withYou should use a simple stitch, whether knitting or crochet, since most of that yarn has so much variation in colour and texture, that any stitch pattern will be completely lost and wastedIf you have not used this before, I suggest that you crochet a sample gauge swatch - that's the proper way to do this anywayYou will want to find a hook of the right size that will be easy to work with, and that will give the kind of hand to the fabric that you wantYou may find that it's just too hard and you won't want to start a big project like a blanket! I personally don't really care for a lot of texture in the yarn for my work, so I am biasedYou, however, may like it a lotTry it and see.
