Ceramic fiber blanket is manufactured from refractory ceramic fibres, providing effective solutions to a wide range of thermal management problems. Utilizing our proprietary high output blowing and spinning techniques, these products supply superior insulating performance, flexibility and resilience.
Ceramic fiber blanket presents unparalleled refractories and thermal insulation due to its long spun fiber needling technique, these blankets offer superior insulating performance, flexibility and resilience.Ceramic fiber blanket products are unaffected by most chemicals(except hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkali).Thermal and physical properties are retained after drying following wetting by oil, steam or water.Ceramic fiber blanket products are completely inorganic,so there are no fumes when heating for the first time.

- Q: I have a conundrum: I have found a beautiful jacket pattern for my little girl that I would love to knit upBut the wool it suggests (Rowan Little Big Wool) is 33% nylon (67% wool) - and I really only want to use natural fibresThe thing is I can't find a natural fibre substitute for this wool. For a jacket would I need nylon for the strength to hold the shape? How does wool with nylon in it wear? Does it pill? Would it feel yuck? Would it have enough of a percentage of wool to breathe? I am just a beginner so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
- One of the other benefits of the nylon in this blend is that it is probably machine washable, based on the percentagesMy LYS doesn't carry this particular one, but Rowan makes nice yarns and this one is a majority natural fiber yarnLike sock yarns with nylon in them, it does strengthen the yarn against wear, and these yarns wear well (ask the 8 yo socks I'm wearing G), but retain the best properties of the wool, including breathabilityIt should not pill, but then, most yarns will pill with excessive wearThe nylon is not essential in keeping the shape of the garment, btw.
- Q: Why is my alpaca blanket itchy?
- Natural wool always is a bit itchy, you're not supposed to use it on bare skinAlpaca wool is soft, much softer than sheeps' wool, but should nonetheless not be used on bare skin, except forearms and legs.
- Q: The pull-down folding stairs to my attic is located in my upstairs hallway ceilingDuring the summer, I can feel the heat coming from the attic through the the attic pull-down stair ceiling door.I have added weather stripping on 3 sides of the ceiling stair door, which has helped, but I can't put weather stripping on the hinge side, where I can feel heat coming through.I have seen thick polystyrene caps (looks like a small up-side-down boat that simply fits over the open hole over the stairs), but they are too wide and won't fit because part of the roofing frame comes down right next to the attic stair opening.Any other thoughts on how to insulate attic stair doors?
- you can buy insulation that has a plastic covering on itCut a couple lengths of it a couple feet longer than the door openingPlace them side by side over the opening. Then close the stairsI have a trap door in my ceiling did the same thing.Keeps the heat from comming thru the door.
- Q: I've recently hit a plateau in my weight loss attemptsI've heard all great things about eating a diet that's high in fiberSo, I have a few questions:1) How many grams of fiber is considered quot;highquot;?2) Is it possible to have too much fiber , if so, what are the effects?3) If you have done this before, how much weight have you lost what was the time frame? Also, how many grams of fiber were you having a day? Thanks so much for your help!
- The average person should be having 30g of fibre per dayFibre is good for weight loss as it has a low glycemic index (GI), this means that it is released into the blood at a slower rate and therefore, makes you feel fuller for longerEating foods high in fibre also make you bowel movements alot healthier and fuller so your body can evacuate all wastesEating a high fibre diet alone will probably not stimulate weight loss as suchIt needs to be encorporated with other things such as exercise and healthy eatingSomething might be high in fibre but also high in sugar which is obviously not good from a weight loss point of viewIdeally, foods should be high in fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals, and low in sugars and trans fats and moderate in carbs and good fatsFollowing a low GI diet is not only very healthy for you but it is also a diet that can be sustained in the long termIf followed religiously people generally loose about 1/2- 1 kg per week - its not much but it is a long term 'lifestyle change'I am sure if you look up low GI diets on the net you will get much more info about the foods you should be eating and avoidingGood Luck!
- Q: can any1 give me a site where they tell all the info about the foods.like calorie info n stuffor a list of foods with high fiber low sugarthx??
- granola bars, wheat thins, and things such as that work very well also oats n stuff like that work too

- You might be sensitive to certain food and it's exacerbated by stressYou can cure it with proper dietary changes and learning how to cope with stressYou want to be regularTake psyllium powder in water three times dailyNo coffeeNo dairyMore plant based foodsPlainer stuffNo friedMore fiber to 25 grams per dayIt sounds counter-intuitive but worksAsk Dr for Rx, lomotilKeep loperamide in the houseAvailable over the counter at pharmacyIBS is a blanket diagnosis they assign when they cannot figure out the problemIt helps nothingYou are not sick daily so it is not that
- Q: How to lure pest inside the walls out and get rid of it forever?
- You need to find out where the moisture is coming fromIt may be that that there is a leak of some sort, but very often the causes are more simpleMoisture in the air is natural but when there is too much we get rainIn your house you get condensationDo you dry wet clothes indoors? Do you use a steam iron? Is the extractor fan working properly in your bathroom to remove steam from your bathing/showering? If the moisture is coming from the outsideeg faulty drainpipes/gutteringDamage to window frames etc then get these things repairedIf the causes include any of the above then try to dry clothes at the laundrette(if that is not an option the open a window if you are drying clothes on the radiator) Also get a plastic clothes 'horse' and stand it in the bath and let your clothes dry in there but try to wring out a much moisture as possible firstWhen you are ironing if using steam option keep a window open (just a little) If the extactor fan is not working in the bath room get it fixed (you should also set it to run for about 3 minutes min after you have switched off the light.) As for the decoration before trying to use bleach to clean you must get the area dry first, so you must sort out where the moisture is coming fromWhen you have done that you can affect repairs.
