- Q:Im looking for one -around 80$-wet-to-dry kind-and most importantly: CAUSE VERY MINIMAL DAMAGE!!thanks :)Quality of course
- Kind of depends what type of hair you have, if you have thick hair, then you're going to need bigger and more robust straighteners (the size of the large GHDs) if it is thin then you may not want some that are quite so bigIf you have long hair however, you may still want the thick ones as they can take more hair at onceIf you want from wet to dry ones, then you need to get ones with a built in hairdryer (Babyliss do some) but they cost more, are more bulky and fiddly to use on yourselfI don't really recommend any dry-to-wet straighteners :/ Revlon is quite a good brand as wellDon't know if that helps you at all but there you go :)
- Q:My horses are in at night and out during the dayI don't bother blanketing them unless it gets below 35We recently got a new boarder, and she wants me to put a heavy winter blanket on her horse at all timesI really don't think it's necessaryIt's going to be 40 degrees tonight, but the horse is young and has a nice winter coat on her.Plus, I heard that a blanket is just as a warm as going without one because the blanket actually flattens their fur and negates the quot;heatingquot; effect. Please include whether your horses are stabled at night or out 24/7
- Follow your instincts - you are right! She has no idea what she is talking aboutWe rug up here (UK) sooner because of the driving rain, it softens the skin and some horses get rain-scald - bacterial infectionHorses are built to withstand very low temperatures, they have no muscle on their lower legs, which makes this possibleI have six horses, full Thoroughbreds, a gypsy cob to Warmbloods, they all live outside without stables27/7/365

- The R38 has a higher insulation value than R30This is particularly helpful in Arizona because it will reduce your overall cooling costs by reducing the level of heat from the sun being absorb by the houseThis is a good thing.
- Q:My basement has absolutely no heat and the basement door opens to the outsideThe part of the house up over it stays extremely coldThere is no insulation on the ceiling of the basement which is only the floor joists, etc for the house above itI am considering getting the fiberglass rolls to put inbetween the rafters since it seems to be the most afordable (I think)What thickness do I need to get for thisI don't understand the R-13, R-30, etc., or is there a cheaper, warmer route to go? Whatever I do, needs to be simple enough for ME to do it.
- It is not cheap! but fibreglass is one of the least expensive! Thicker the better! If door opens to outside you have a walkout basement, insulate around doorjamb as well and windows if you have them? Measure to see if you have joist at 12 in on center or 16 in on center to get proper sizeYou need friction fit which means just that, slide it in and friction holds it in placeCut to fit more narrow voids 3/4 in larger than measurmentIf you have trouble in areas with insulation falling out because it`s not quite tight enough, you can zig zag sting across joist to hold it up! Then if you wish to drywall in future you can just board over string without any troubleI would install poly to contain fibreglass dust in basement.
- Q:I have a 17 hand TB who has extremely high withersHe currently rides in just a saddle pad and a fleeceworks sheepskin padIt lifts a little but still needs rise in the back and maybe in the front just a tadI've tried to find the inserts but have had no successIf anyone know any tips on how to give him some lift or even where I could find the inserts for cheap that would be amazing! Thank you!
- Hm, Well it sounds more like a saddle fit problemIf you have to lift here and there and all that does it fit at all? That said; a firm thick pad like a 1 thick hair felt pad or neoprene pad with a cutback at the withers sounds about rightIf it takes more than a 1 thick pad to keep the gullet off the withers the problem is not the padIf you can squeeze a pad flat, like the fuzzy pads that have foam inside, that is too soft to be any use at allIf you use a neoprene pad you should use a natural fiber blanket or cover next to the horse.
- Q:what fruit has the highest fiber content?
- I like the binder best for storage and organizingJust 3 hole punch clear acetate sheets and they will cling to the sheets in your binderYou can buy a box of acetate sheets can be purchased in an office supply storeYou can also store them in empty CD cases for transportation.
