- what are you heating? water? if so, make a thick cardboard box with an open top, and cover the outside with DARK construction paper (black absorbs the light, that's why it's black)Line the inside of the box with the aluminum foil, and try to curve it so that the sun's rays are reflected around inside the box(make sure there are no holes because this is also what will keep your water inside, unless its in a bottle, then there can be holes)Cover the top of the box with the plastic wrap once the water's inside, this prevents it from evaporating.
