CMAX ceramic fiber blankets are made from HA bulk fibers by blowing process. Double-side needling provides blanket with great tensile or handing strength for easy installation. CMAX ceramic fiber blankets are available in a wide variety of temperature grades, chemistries, densities and thicknesses. The HA blankets have temperature classification 1350(2462) and the recommended service temperature up to 1200(2200).

CMAX ceramic fiber blankets have good performance with the following characteristics:

Light weight

Low thermal conductivity

Low heat storage

Resilient to thermal shock

High tensile strength

 good acoustical properties.

CMAX ceramic fiber blanket are available in a wide range of application:

Furnace, kiln, and boiler linings

Petrochemical process heater refractory fiber lining

General furnace backup insulation

Heat seals for kiln car or furnace door

Incineration equipment and stack linings

Q: I need fiber to keep my stool from getting too large or hard, and the way I've been doing that is trying to eat 2 or 3 bowls of Raisin Bran dailyBut sometimes, I don't really feel like eating that much, and that results in me not getting enough fiber.
Fiber one bars- 9 grams of fiber in one bar(recommended daily dose is about 20-25) plus they taste absolutely amazing and are not too heavy on your stomach Benifiber packets- 3 grams of fiber, tasteless powder mix it with 8 ounces of liquid as many times as you want in a day Also you may want to try a stool softener such as miralaxMiralax pulls water into your intestines and hydrating your stoolIt can also be taken for up to a year without any side effects because it is not a harsh laxative.
Q: Hey everyoneI bought a 160 year old farm house with the true cut 2x4 studsThis winter we got destroyed with heating billsWe have insulated the crawl space in the basement with R-30 and put up a 6mil sheathing over it but still got really coldWe are also losing heat in the atticMy question is once we get into the walls (drywall over plaster) and take out the blown in crap could we use a Gap Filler along the seams of the exterior sheathing and the studs then put in a high R rating insulation? There is only 2-3 inches of space in the wallsAny help would be really appreciatedWould love to have a warm home next winter! PS im a DYI person.
1.) Consider the potential enrgy at ground to be zero The work done by crane solely goes in the potential energy of the load mgh P.E mgh 2000 5 10000 Joules 10Kilo joules 2.)Work done Force displacement If friction force is 200N then the man has to push the man with same force to just move it WOrk 200 5 1000Joules 1 kilo joules
Q: Could you explain simply please?
Um.Oxygen will lose electrons to form O2 and Al3+ will gain electrons to form Al(s) Hope this helps :) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Q: Which type of yarn would make a good knitted blanket: Wool or Worsted weight?
Worsted weight refers to the thickness of the yarn, not the fiber, so why not use worsted weight superwash wool? If you choose the right fiber, it'll be soft, warm, and machine washable.
Q: I was wondering if there is a good insulation like a gel or a substitute that helps food stay cold for longer periods of timeSomething that acts like water that can hold cold for long periods of time but handles large heat like a microwave but will keep its heat wellIs there such thing? Please help!
I had terrible IBS pains final night time and ate a peppermint sweet after studying it is helping belly painsGoogle a few traditional cures for IBS and take a look at to get a well healthy eating plan and pastime to support relieve the discomfort.
Q: I am redoing all the insulation in my homeEverything is done except for the atticIt is a crawl in attic and once you are in, its not very tall just longIt looks like the floor insulation has been done not too long ago so i won't mess with thatThe attic ceiling is slanted(the roof is slanted) and there is no insulation on it that there is only 2 vents on the roofI've realized in the summer its very hot upstairs and winter cold upstairsI think the insulation would help with that, what do you think? And what type of insulation would be best? Thank you!
if you mean the metal tube is leaking then yes you have to replace the whole thing
Q: For my materials science course, one of our exam questions is to come up with a question and answer itWe will be graded based on the difficulty of the question and the completeness of the answer. My question is.Why do metals typically have a much higher coefficient of thermal expansion when compared to ceramics? Please rate the DIFFICULTY of this question on a scale of 1-101 easy10 hardI have the answer to this question completedI just need to make sure it is not an quot;easy questionquot;.Lastly my exam is tomorrow, so I would appreciate as much help as I can get.Thank you everyone!
I would suggest you practice in acrylic until you get the right pattern [take LOTS of notes]When it is right, you can make a new one in woolThat way all re-do's will be with the cheaper yarn and the final cozy will be in the wool.
Q: Our house was repiped several years ago and the PVC pipes run through the attic (almst no space up there)We have never had it freeze before and this morning there is zero water coming out (hot or cold) and the hot water heater is gurgling a bitWe havea different water line in our porch that freezes quite easily unless we trickle the water overnightIt usual fixes itself by mid-day as it warms upRight now we are a houseful or 6 with no water excepts bottles in the fridge! Should I.turn off water heater? Open faucet? Hot, cold, or both?
How will this affect me in my future life?
Q: I have no one to show me how to knit, so I decided to try and teach myself using videos and tutorials online.I got the hang of it, but when I knit it is really tightI tried going looser, but still tighten upI want to make a scarf, but the tightness makes me question if it is going to get any longer? I use 6 mm needles and the yarn says worsted medium 4 (Yeah, i don't know what that means.)So my question: If I knit tightly, will this scarf get longer?
It will eventually get longer, no matter what size stitches you makeBut the tighter you knit, the longer it will take and the more yarn it will takeThere are other issues with knitting tightly: 1It tires the hands and can make muscles sore 2It increases tension in the knitter, while knitting is supposed to be a relaxing hobby 3It puts strain on the fibers of the yarn which will effect the stretchiness of the fabric being knit and the life expectancy of the individual fibers in the yarnSo here are some ways to knit less tightly: 1Use a larger needle2Drink a glass of wine (assuming you are of age)3Find someplace quiet to knit4When you start to feel tense, put the knitting down, get up, and walk around5Change the way you tension the yarn around your fingersIf you wrap it around or between too many fingers, you will put too much tension on the yarn which will make the stitches tight Try NOT tensioning around your fingers for a few rowsJust pinch the yarn with your thumb and first finger to wrap it around the right needle for a stitchBetween stitches, let go of the yarn so it can relaxThat will get you a good foundation of a couple of rows of looser stitchesWorking in tight stitches tends to make one tense up because they have to fight to get the needle into the stitch and that tension makes them put a death grip on the yarn, making the next stitches even tighterWhen you have a few looser rows and are ready to tension the yarn again, try putting it over just your forefinger or weaving it over your forefinger, on the palm side of the middle and ring finger, then on the back of the pinkyDo not wind it around any finger, just weave it between themThis will help you keep a looser tensionBe aware it will feel strange because you are used to knitting tightlyIt may be frustrating tooBut stick with it and remember to set the knitting down and take a break when you become frustrated.
Q: I don't really know much about this stuff so I just want to know what the difference is.
