- Q: How do you explain the pipe joint?
- The fittings are expressed in part according to the British system
- Q: Let's say you're on 3rd gear and there's a speed bump or a pedestrian crossing ahead and you have to slow down. Do you have to shift to a lower gear or can you just slightly press the clutch and the and the break? Also, it it possible to go from 1st gear straight to 4th, skipping 2nd and 3rd? Or do you have to change to each one at a time?
- steve, when solvent cementing pvc ( sch 40 ) all you need is deburr the edge of the pipes, use a good quality primer ( generally purple ) and a good quality glue. apply both to pipe and fittings and press in, hold for about 30 seconds and done - since your dealing with pressure, you must use pressure sch 40 fittings , not dwv pvc drain fittings you must let the fittings set or dry for at least 4 to 6 hrs before turning thw water back on. if you do this, there should be no reasons for a leak, best luck
- Q: So far they have wins over,Danny Bryan,Kane,Jawn Seena,Randy Orton,Sheamus,Big Slow,The Undertaker,Ryback,Chris Jericho, pretty much every top face in the company. Now that they've faced and beaten everybody there is to beat, who will they lose to without looking weak? I think a few loses here and there would have help so they could have future matches to avenge the loses.
- There is no clear direct link between EM and ghosts. There is a hypothesis that since humans generate em fields that this is a way to detect ghosts, but most of the supposed ghost detectors are designed to detect em fields at a higher frequency than would be expected, so they are worthless. As for a someone PhD in physics that is unaware of the possibility of ghosts under known laws of physics, I would guess that their field of specialty had nothing to do with the areas that are used in paranormal studies, and that they have not looked at the relevant literature. That ghosts are possible has been firmly established since the late 1960's, but some areas of physics still seem to be unaware of this development. This in an unfortunate side effect of overspecialization.
- Q: At times there are guys i find attractive that i'd like to approach but i find myself unsure if they want to be approached at all. I know some attractive guys get harassed a lot so they often keep a really stern or almost angry looking face. Is that shield up for them? Also i am not a super model ever so hot person, i think i am pretty average and normal looking, and i have seen some attractive guys get offended when 'normal' people approach them, I know all guys are not like this, but is there a way to tell if he just rather not be disturbed by me?
- Use metal, and weld it up strong. PVC pipe will break quickly on you, especially if it is cold outside. If you want to make it to where you can break it down, use metal plumbing pipe, and screw joints for the elbows, and such. be creative! The netting could be tricky, but if you are resourceful, you may be able to talk your local rink out of one, when they replace the netting on their goals. Otherwise, you need to scour the internet. Good luck.
- Q: I've a dishwashing job at a restaurant, I don't like to wear those annoying rubber gloves that make my hands sweat. Is it really necessary to wear gloves?
- If you use 1 1/4 pipe schedule 40 and keep it under 48 you should be able to hang about 50 or so pounds on the pipe. If you go past that, it will sag pretty badly. Be sure to draw out what you want to build so you get an accurate idea of what types of fittings you will need. And above all, dry fit it first to make sure it works before you start gluing it together.
- Q: First of all, me and my wife are monogamous and married for 8 years, so the std risks are none, but I find little information on this. Me and my wife have anal sex at least weekly and she wants me to pee in her butt after I finnish to see how it feels but we cant find any health risks or concerns on this matter other than a few references to people doing it. Is there major risks or just the regular anal sex risks?
- The solder used for copper plumbing work has lower lead than in the past. It's safe to use otherwise some idiot would have made yet another law prohibiting the use. If you really don't want anything like that in your water system then go with the various plastic solutions and clamp-on fittings. That way you won't have any issues with lead. It is also simpler to do and will likely be less expensive than copper pipes.
- Q: I'm retrofitting my air conditioning. my lines are full of this slimey green goo, which smells like lime. what is it? is this bad?? do I need to replace everything??
- Sounds like an oil seal! Could be the main seal at the shaft or just a gasket going bad. Have you tried searching youtube videos for information? This can be a big help. Order yourself a repair repair manual that you can refer too. That would be the first thing I suggest if your going to do it yourself. You might even be able to find some repair images right here online. So your leaving a red transmission fluid not a black oil correct? If it's black and between the engine and tranny it could be a main seal there.
- Q: Would I just be able to clean it out with a non flammable cleaning substance, and let it air out for like a week?
- Um yea I wouldn't have done that myself. But I would go see a doctor. but make sure you celan it or something so it doesn't get infected. Then when it heals get it repeirced by a profeshional
- Q: in my assignment im asked to explain about the difficulties and misuses of lightning rods, ive looked everywhere on the net for them but im not finding
- If you have polybutylene pipe it is recommended that you change the pipe to either copper or PVC. PB has a history of failures which can cause major water damage. PB pipe has been the subject of many class action law suits and your insurance may not cover water damage caused by PB pipe failure.
- Q: I'm making a door alarm, what MUST it have?I already have; low cost, easy to use, brightly colored/visible, not too small or big (to act as a deterrent)can you suggest some more please?
