Q:fender system one guitar tremolo lock collar?
If your structure isn't prewired, you would have to go some re-wiring. You need a four wire run, +/-/data/ground. They will work on battery only, not connected together
Q:I want to buy a wireless door/window alarm,Can anyone recommend which one is better for the elderly and children?
I hope you mean galvanized steel pipe, not corrugated steel pipe. Black iron pipe is used for natural gas or propane. It is OK to use galvanized steel fittings for gas, but black iron fittings are preferred. For water, only use galvanized steel pipe and galvanized fittings because black iron fittings will soon rust. Galvanization slows down the rusting process, but eventually all steel pipe will rust. I would only use copper pipe for new water plumbing.
Q:My girl was naked in the shower and my friend Alex walked in and saw everything.Since, he won't stop staring at her boobs and butt. I think he likes her. But now he tells other people that my girlfriend showed him her pussy.I told him to stop. But, now he is sending her pics of his d*ck and she is getting uncomfortable around me now. What did I do?? I have asked and begged alex to leave her alone. It got really bad when I was fingering my girl and he walked in and videoed her.I tried to get his phone but he locked his phone. What do I do??
under the sink there should be a u bend you can buy one which as a connection for your waste pipe not hard to fix no need of a plumber
Q:Obviously a bike, but what else will i need so far i can include the following into my budget:-insurance-helmet-gloveswhat other safety equipment will there be? ive seen full body suits, and im assuming there is a specific boot to wear im just wondering as a starting motorcycler what should i be looking to spend in total for the bike insurance and the safety equipment.
The cheapest and easiest way to repair a leak in a copper pipe. If you do not have the tools and experience, is to 1.)determine the size of the pipe, 2.) if it is a elbow, straight piece aka coupling etc. Then go to Home Depot and ask for Shark-Bite- Fittings needed to complete repair. You then follow instructions and assemble. No need to use fire/ torch, and wait for house to drain etc. As long as you follow instructions, the repair will be easy and will not come apart. This is a much safer way to make a repair in copper pipe. If it is a tight repair and/or a section of pipe must be replaced, you can use cpvc (yellow looking pvc pipe), copper tubing. I have used Shark-Bite Fittings, ***Very Important***, is to follow instructions
Q:I don't want to take it to a VW garage if it is something i can do. Please help. Everytime i unlock my car, when i put my key in the ignition the alarm goes off. very annoying.
It depends on what type of joint it is. If you want to send me a photo, I'll tell you what the problem looks like. A lot of fittings are not meant to have plumbers tape, in which case putting plumbers tape on the surfaces before tightening them just makes them prone to leaking. If you have a flexible hose type connection, then these are not meant to have plumbers tape on the threads. Plumbers tape is meant for connections with tappered threads.
Q:Hi, I'm trying to install a remote start system on my truck but I cant find the factory alarm system wires. I don't have a diagram for a 2011 because there isn't one available yet. I don't know if my truck even has an alarm system. On the key fob, there is a panic button.. would this be considered the alarm? If so, if anyone knows exactly where (in the kick panel) the factory alarm wires are, pleeease fill me in. (PS. If I lock the doors with the fob, and then try to open the door, or unlock it with the key, no alarm goes off)Thanks.
Yea because i think that there is an actual fire and all i could think about is what im going to do when i get home LOL
Q:Groundhog fire alarm Rottweiler and a husky
Sure, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Actually, I'm kinda surprised that your original build was CPVC, as copper would be much more common. As Tony suggests, PEX is where you go, over time. Relax.
Q:I need help on finding out what's a good alarm system for my 1997 honda accord sedan. I don't want remote start just looking for an alarm that has siren an locks and unlocks. One that is not to expensive I want something more affordable but also works great and can keep my car safe. I don't know to much about alarms so please help.
Sounds like you have a build up of scale in your pipes. If the black specks are hard then it is most likely scale and that will be coming from the pipes. If they are rubber like then you may have a rubber seal somewhere in the system that is falling apart slowly. Anyway you say that it is only a big rush of water to this particular outlet so it is something to do with this line. If it only happens in the one spot in your house, the main bathroom then that isolates it to the pipes or fittings on that leg of your plumbing. You say you have replaced the faucet so you know how to turn your mains supply water to your house on and off. I suggest you try to isolate the problem even further. Turn your water off; open a faucet to relieve the pressure in your hot water sytem tank. Remove the outlet pipe from your hot water service and have someone turn the mains tap on again but catch the water in a bucket. Check if the black specks are there or not, if they are then the problemn is further up stream, if not then it is further downstream which I think it probably is but you need to eliminate the origin of the specks. I think you probably get where I am going with this, keep tracking until you find what area the specks are coming from. If you find it is in the pipes you can flush them with all sorts of things to clean them out. But you will be forced to repeat fairly regularly as scale is just rust which breaks away and flows with the water. If you have copper pipes there may be a piece of steel pipe in the line and that is where your scale will be coming from. If the specks are coming from the heater and depending on what they are as to how you will need to deal with it. If all else fails take a sample of the specks to your local hardware or plumbing store, look for the oldest person working there and explain what is going on and what you know about the source. They may be able to help. Best of luck
Q:Ok so every night around this time I get a horrible urge to urinate, it lasts until the tank is empty I'd you know what i mean and that takes a LONG time since only a little comes out at a time, I have to goto the bathroom about 15 times before I start urinating (can't hold it) on the rug, it is disgusting and it's really been bad for over a month now, the funny thing is when I lay down the urge is so bad it feels like the urine is about to just come out, rather when im sitting up it's not bad. Also once I fall asleep I don't wake back up in the middle of the night to urinate that's it until the noting. I also noticed I have a very hard time urinating during the day I have to get it an extra push, something i never had to do before in my 20 years of life, I'm very young for this kind of stuff, I don't know what it is and I have been to the urologist he said there was nothing wrong, im getting worried. I appreciate all of the help, thanks very much.
You can buy 1/2 PVC pipe and appropriate fittings to make a base of the desired size (the one I built was about 8' across and about 7' tall). I started by buiding a base from a piece of 1 x 12 lumber 8' long (for the base). I screwed a one gallon bucket to each end of this board. Next, I took a section of the PVC pipe with a tee on one end (to anchor the pipe in the plaster) and poured plaster of paris 1/2 way in each bucket (the pipe was laid in at an angle facing the opposite side-with the pipe touching the bottom outside edge of the bucket and the top of the pipe about an inch away from the top inside edge of the bucket). I allowed the plaster to set up, then I cut the exposed pipe to about 4 above the top of the bucket and glued a sleeve on the end of the pipe. Next, I took and assembled two pieces of pipe (I don't remember the actual dimension) to form the arch to the desired height (I just shoved the ends of the pipe into the open ends of the exposed sleeves - no glue). To transport, remove the arch (with balloons tied on) and carry as a separate piece with the base. It is much better if you tie the balloons on after you set up the arch. We have used it for years and it is easy for people to bring back to the store when they have finished with it.
Q:why are lightning rods pointed?
A lightning strike might be 200,000 volts and 50,000 amperes. Unforunately the duration is a fraction of a second. For simple math, let's round it up to 1 second (0.0003 hours). 200 kV x 50 kA x 0.0003 hours 3,000 kWh. This is enough energy to power two average sized mid-west homes for an entire month in the middle of summer. I will let the reader work out the details on how they're going to collect and store this energy for useful purposes..
