- Q: I was burning a cd, and my dad was on the internet during a thunderstorm and as i was coming back to see if the cd was done i hear a loud pop sound and a blue light and figured that it was the computer. So now the computer doesnt turn on but on the back there is a little light that turns on every time we plug it to the power. Is there any way we can fix it?( is there some fuse that blew up or something like that or is it dead for good? Oh and my cd is still in there)
- The higher the number in OZ the safer they are and if your planning to just play around with some friends in the yard I'd suggest 16OZ sparring gloves so that nobody gets hurt.
- Q: I doubt WM 29 is his last match but who will he face? It's already gonna be Cena vs. Rock. 80%. 15% CM Punk will get involved in a triple threatBrock Lesnar will face Triple H. HHH will come back and attack Lesnar espicially for what he did to Mr. McMahon last night. But who does that Leave for the Dead Man?Or maybe Vince could try to get back at Lesnar by making him face The Undertaker?Or could Taker face CM Punk? it would be good if Punk still had the title which he had a streak of 434 days and it would be against the 20-0 streak. But now it would be pointless.Ryback is a big NO! The Shield! NO! Chris Jericho? YES!Shawn Michaels return for one last match aganist Taker? HBK vs. Taker III (0.5% chance)Goldberg?Sting?Batista?I think the best option would be Chris Jericho. We never saw a full Taker vs. Y2J match.
- We cannot build on any other planet that only because no oxygen can be found At night Very cold and at day very hot therefor the only planet that we live on is earth
- Q: When doing work with strimmers, chainsaws, etc which is the best to use?I prefer polycarbonate as its clear and easy to see through but mesh visors seem to be very popular, is there a good reason for this? Ie are they safer?
- Modern water heaters don't need an insulation blanket if they are in a heated space of your house. If they are in the garage or in an outside closet, they can benefit some from a blanket if it is properly installed. I don't think one blanket is better than another.
- Q: Hi, my Saxo has givin up the will to live and im scrapping it as its not worth getting it fixed. It had an aftermarket alarm and central locking fitted by previous owner and my new car doesn't have either, so i would like to remove, then fit the alarm onto my new car. but i don't know how.
- Quite simply because of a few reasons. Firstly, Santa's Sleigh does not meet the definition under the Act of a motor vehicle therefore the Act does not apply to it. He is also a visiting vehicle/vessel/craft and not one registered or stored within the UK, thus he is a temporary visitor and not subject to UK registration regulations. Secondly, the sleigh does not fit the definition of an aircraft under the 1944 Convention on International Civil Aviation and thus his red beacon does not breach said act. Thirdly, Santa has 34 hours to deliver his gifts across all the time zones across the entire globe so he must reach speeds of 2,924,180mph to deliver presents to everyone. Thus he'll be travelling faster than the light his red beacon can project and it won't be seen thus he can't violate an y act if there's no proof it was on/showing to begin with. He's also Santahe can legally break into peoples housesso a red light is the least of his concerns.
- Q: Would water from a running fire hydrant dry rot or ruin your tires on your car?
- For the MgF2 to be non-reflective, destructive interference between the reflected ray off the the surface of the MgF2-air interface and the ray reflected off the MgF2-glass surface must be 1/4 of a wavelength. The index of refraction of the glass is not involved so the answer for both parts A) B is the same So t 1/4λ2 (where λ2 is the wavelength in the MgF2 which n2*λ. λ is the wavelength in air) So t min (n2*λ)/4
- Q: Two holes for each mounting bracket; or should I use double sided adhesive squares? I have six to install
- I can't say this is a whole solution, but I do have one suggestion that you might incorporate into your box/chamber/whatever Have the outside of your box either be mirrors, or some other kind of reflective material, such that they reflect (rather than absorb) energy from outside the box. Because any energy input to the box will cause the ice to melt faster. This is at least a start. Hope my suggestion helps!
- Q: What is a pedrail wheel;explain?
- Eat about 4 packages of those cream filled wafer cookies per day. You will get really big.
- Q: any suggestion how to make an improvised fire alarm? we need it for our project thanks :D
- Have a look at your local street directory see if there are any other less traffic alternatives. If you have no other options, there are ways of minimizing any risks. Try not to go out in the middle of peak hour, and try to aim for parts of the day which tend to have less traffic. If there is a safe verge of the road you can use, make the most of it. But if that part of the road is full of glass other road crud and is too narrow, there's nothing stopping you riding on the main bit of road. Wear bright clothing - a reflective safety vest is a good option. Remember to wear a helmet. At night time always have some kind of lights, front rear. Make sure some kind of reflective material is on your bike as well ,whether it be reflective tape, pedal reflectors etc. Be aware of your surroundings, leave the ipod at home keep aware of the traffic coming up behind you. Be confident, hold your line don't let other road users intimidate you. Riding in the gutter can be dangerous, so you have the right to take up part of the outer lane. That said, be prepared to give right of way to others if in a potentially dangerous situation. Oh and keep a spare tube, pump patch kit handy, because walking a bike home along a main road is not that fun. I just noticed you're just 15. If I were you, I'll meantion where I was going to someone else. Parents might be a bit bossy at times, but they are only looking after your well-being. Carrying a mobile phone as a safety backup would be a good option here. I learnt this the hard way when I was 13, out on a main road, not telling anyone where I was going. I'm sure my mum did not appreciate getting a call that I had flew off my bike into a dirt ditch!! Happy (safe) riding
- Q: my system has six(6) ac detectors with battery back-up. one of them beeps at intervals. i need to shut that sucker up before it drives me crazy!! help me please!
- Eric Weissteins is a GREAT reference for physics stuff.
- Q: Under what circumstances will the reflector be light?
- Reflective vests shine when illuminated, as reflective vests are made of high visibility reflective materialThe main body of the reflective vest is made of mesh cloth or plain cloth, and the reflective material is a reflective lattice or a high brightness reflective cloth; The main categories are polyester reflective vest, polyester fluorescent reflective vest, polyester bright reflective vest, polyester PVC lattice reflective vest,
