- Haha, I hate this problem! I have an all white/grey warmblood gelding that I use for Dressage and so we have dark pads as wellWell those hairs are a PAIN IN THE $$! Typically what works for me is putting them in the washer/dryer on low cycle just so you don't ruin themThat helps clean them really well, plus gets most of the excess hairs offNext I'll go over them with a vacuum, and after I go over them with a lint brush which helps pick off all the hairs in the little cracks and crevasses of the padsWorks for me!
