They can also cause constipation.My advice would be to take recommended dose for a couple of weeks and then to change your diet.Drinking fresh orange juice can help if you are eating properly as vitamin C helps the body absorb iron. Q: im doing a school assessment on iron and i need your help pleaz :): Anemia is a common disease that is prevented by eating iron. You can have iron in meat, mostly chicken livers, and iron pills. Read Kira-Kira by Cynthia Kadohata, where she explains a little bit about anemia/lymphoma, and what no iron can do for it. :D
