Q: I bought one and I have to wear earplugs to use it. It doesn't work all that well, either, just good enough. I'm thinking of taking it back. Any suggestions for a good stick vacuum? My case on my Hoover was cracked really badly (where it meets the handle) - that's why I bought the Shark.: I only have the hand held shark, bigger than a dustbuster, it is kind of noisy. But I dont take it out much.

I was thinking of getting a vacumn cleaner as it is aways so dusty but will this do more harm than good to my health in my apartment.
