- Try exercising I found that helped a lot with releasing my stress levels and giving me something to do other than relying on cutting.I can't really talk about being a cutter myself because i've only cut a few times but I stopped,i realised what I was doing was wrong and there are healthy ways to let your anger,stress,empty feelings etc out.If you don't want to do that though,which I can understand then get ice and salt and put it in the palm of your hand and it gives a burning sensation and leaves just a red mark for a while but it'll go with in hours or a few days.Much better then cutting try getting out of that habit.Good luck champ! x
