- Q: I asked about if which one are better ceramic or porcelain. I found some expert cosmetic dentist and he use porcelain but the price is pretty high. I found another dentist and he use all-ceramic and the price is affortable to me.Because I don‘t have much teeth left on my front. I lost alot of teeth in the front and just some left near the back gum line. Some people here said using build-up material will help to support the crown. But do I need an expert and expensive one to do this? Is it a very hard job to do crown? If I don‘t use ask an expert to do this, then it may not last long? Thanks.
- sounds to me like the filter is just clogged up but if you want something good for your transmission then get some ( trans-medic or bg product )
- Q: I bought a new amika ceramic straightener and I saw online that they also have a wet to dry straighteneres. I read that it is not good to use the wet to dry ones. I would like to know which is healthy and best for your hair. Also can we use this ceramic one on wet hair. Also what is the best way to protect your hair from heat, what is the best temperature to use without hair damage. How often can we straignten the hair using this Amika one. The sales rep told me you can do it everyday but I dont beleive him.Thank you for all your answers
- I striaghtened my thin hair once when it was wet and it just got terribly frizzy. I think it may have something to do with how water absorbs heat much more than other surfaces. but anyways, it wasn't a wet-dry straightener.still, it seems safer just to stick to a ceramic (or tourmaline) one and just use it on dry hair
- Q: What gasses can pass through ceramic? Which ones can‘t?What kind of diffusion would a solid ceramic filter be used for?
- I don't know which I like more: the fact that a group called Potters for Peace actually exists, or the fact they seem to be quiet superheroes. Specifically, they make a ceramic water filter which, it would appear, is high-tech (colloidal-silver-saturated earthenware), low-cost, easy-to-use and filters out approximately 99.88% of most water born disease agents. They also make energy-efficient kilns. It makes me inexplicably happy to know that the potters are throwing down for sustainability.
- Q: I have some thin rope border tiles that look really dull, but I notice when I wet them to scrub the left over grout out of the lines, they look really shiny and pretty. It made me wonder if I could coat them with some polyurethane to make them pop?
- It's best not to put anything on ceramic tiles as they are non-absorbant. If you really want to try, buy a small container of stone Sealer Enhancer and brush it on a small area in an inconspicuous spot to see how it looks then how it holds up. By coating ceramic you're probably asking for maintenence problems in the future.
- Q: is this really serious? can i still use it? or should i replace it asap? will it be really bad for my hair if i continue to use it? thanks everyone!!
- Thats weird, that usually wont happen unless its good quality, or it never happens if its real ceramic! Get a new one!
- Q: What is the difference between the regular Bones Swiss Ceramic bearings the Bones Swiss Ceramic Labyrinth bearings??Also, are the Ceramic balls magnetic?? I dont think they are but I just want to make sure.
- Bone Swiss Ceramic Bearings
- Q: why does ceramic keep water warm long???
- Probably because the ceramic is a thermal insulator, and because of that it makes the water hold onto its heat longer, because it has a hard time giving it up to the ceramic.
- Q: If a straightener or curling iron or brush is ceramic, does is then mean that it‘s also ionic? I guess what I‘m asking is, Are all ceramic ones ionic, or are all ionic ones ceramic?
- ionize is the result of using ceramic products on your hair its almost like sealing ur hair
- Q: Okay so im getting bracs and want to know about ceramic braces. Are they really all that visible or no? and can you tell from close up or not?
- Ceramic braces are certainly less noticable than metal braces but people can still tell you have braces on. You will also want to make sure you keep them very clean so that the brackets don't pick up stain around them. The wires used are usually metal so they will be visible. Although tooth colored coated wires are available. You maybe a candidate for treatment with clear aligners such as Invisalign. Talk to your dentist about alternatives. For more info on different types of braces visit my website.
- Q: Are higher priced ceramic brake pads better than lower priced ones?
- It depends on the specs. For average daily use, just go for the cheaper one. Unless you plan to put a lot of stress on your brakes, basically for racing applications. Using racing brakes on a commuter car can actually be bad, because some of the high end pads need to be heated up to work right. Which won't happen in a commute.
