- what exactly will he want to do? technician or operator? what type of machine ? these fields aren't going anywhere and most of them are steady. pay can range from $30K - $40K depending where you live and your training level. as for moving up in the company.... no idea. it all depends if the company trains you or sends you out for more training. then yes, they will want to keep you longer if they are investing money in you and will give you raises to keep you happy.

- Q: My contractor table saw has 2hp motor first starts up caused my lights in my basement to dim and as it running seems like it has some shaking in it, I can feel in the saw table, also the basement light seems to flickering or diming out the whole time when saw is in used. - The lights dim because the saw is pulling too many amps for the circuit it is on. To fix that problem, install a dedicated circuit (20 amp, 12 gage wire) for the saw. The vibration is most often because the base and table of the saw are not heavy enough or the motor is not attached tightly or is mis aligned. This is why good quality contractor saws always have big cast iron tables. This is pretty much the old saying of you get what you pay for. You may be able to reduce vibration if you can figure out a way to attach concrete blocks to the bottom of the table. ( By hanging them from rope wire etc.) Anything to add substantial weight. And check the alignment of the motor and the saw arbor and the motor to the arbor.

- Q: This is what i've got so far:-.horses and machinery do most of the work..one man can till the same field with a group of horses which once required 6.cheaper food from overseas resulted in farms closing down.i only need 2 more.thanks
