- Plus side, anyone can get hold of you at any time Down side, anyone can get hold of you at any time Depending on how you use it, they're great If you don't want to be interrupted, turn it off. Great for emergencies though if you're stuck somewhere or stranded or in a sticky situation. Can be bulky to carry around, and if you go out drinking, you may lose it somewhere Over here (UK), people were killing for mobile phones a few years ago, so try to be discreet when using it. Down side, they can be a huge distraction, especially if you're driving. It's up to you and how you use it, if you're fairly sensible with it, they're great and an important tool. If you learn where the power button is, they're not as intrusive as they can be

- In my opinion, Tmobile is a great cellular service provider and I've been using them for years without problems. So I think you should be fine with them. Meanwhile, all I can say about the t-mobile phone selection is RAZR-Ville! and it's also that way for a good reason. T-mobile doesn't offer very many decent phones in my opinion aside from the reliable RAZR and Sidekicks. But, the problem with this is the fact that RAZRs are becoming all to common and the sidekick has an apalling screen resolution, camera, and portability rating (at least for me). T-mobile also has a tragically small amount of smartphones in their line up. This is because T-mobile is relying on the blackberry/crackberry to hold their smartphones sector. So unless you love blackberries, look somewhere else. Finally, the low-end phones are mainly clamshells with decent functionality for those who just want a phone. Though one exception to the low-end phones would be the samsung slide phone that they have get it if you wan t a nice looking and quite capable basic phone. Thus, unless you absolutely love the RAZR, text message to the point or needing a sidekick, need a blackberry(I found the phone boring), or want a basic phone which you can mostly get elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend getting a phone from t-mobile directly. Which brings me to a simple conclusion, buy an unlocked GSM phone that works with where you live and T-mobile from OKorder or something and stick your sim card in it. Well hope that helps.
- Q: I have the i776w boost mobile phone(you know the new purple one) and i want to change it to t-mobile because boost is ripping me off and giving me problems. There are too many dropped calls, bad signals and text messages will sometimes arrive late or not at all. Sometimes when i'm not even using my phone it says its busy and nobody can reach me on it. - Don't even bother trying to unlock it if you are going to try using it with T-Mobile as it will not work. Boost Mobile's i series phones are iDEN, while T-Mobile's phones and network are GSM. While both use sim cards, they are two different technologies and are not compatible with each other. iDEN phones can only be used with other iDEN providers, such as Nextel and SouthernLINC. As far as unlocking, each phone will have a different unlock code, so one phone's unlock code will not work with another phone.
