Q: I have a plan under sprint and my sister has broken her phone then lost my old back up phone. can i buy a cheap prepaid virgin mobile phone and activate it for sprint? please no jokes about using other carriers, sprint is the only thing that has any good signal where i live (nowhere).
No you can't at this time. It might be possible in the future as Sprint just bought out Virgin Mobile as of last month and they will take at least another six months integrating the two operations. Right now, Sprint only allows Sprint phones and Virgin Mobile only allows Virgin Mobile phones Btw, Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint network ANYWAY, maybe you want to just buy a Virgin Mobile phone and run it on Virgin Mobile seeing as it is the same as Sprint (except for no roamingbut if Sprint is the only network that works in your area anyway, roaming is not an issue because that involves other carriers besides Sprint.). Virgin Mobile has better prices then Sprint anyway. If you are stuck with the Sprint plan, find a cheap used Sprint phone via Craigslist or OKorder and make sure that the esn/electronic serial number is clean (email the seller on OKorder and find out what the number is first, call Sprint customer care and check to make sure it is clean/not stolen/lost or has money owed to Sprint on it). If it is good to go, buy it. You should be able to activate it on Sprint.
Q: I was just recently promoted to a Mobile Phones Consultant at work. I am a great sales person, but I do not have much knowledge on cell phones. What are some websites than can help me prepare for this position? I start in two weeks! Thank you.

Q: 8051 microcontroler based Home automation using mobile phones
it's very easy if you have a look at the diagram of the microcontroller. for example, you can design a mobile phone signal receiver and link it to port p1.0. when someone phones, p1.0 becomes 1, and write if (p1.01) {p1.11) p1.1 is linked to something to be switched on, for example, a burglar alarm or an air conditioner.
Q: I really want to know how to send instant messages to mobile phones using Yahoo! Messenger Please help me!
Yahoo! Messenger keeps you connected even when you're away from your PC. There are two ways to use Yahoo! Messenger with your mobile phone: *Send IMs as text messages from your PC to your friends' mobile phones *Sign into Yahoo! Messenger from your mobile phone and send IMs to your friends when you're away from your PC To start using Yahoo! Messenger right from your phone, find out which version works best for your phone model, it's easy! *Go to Yahoo! Mobile *Choose your carrier *Enter your phone brand and model
Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,
Q: I have Virgin Mobile, and want to switch phones to one that has a full keyboard, but they only have on listed on their website, and I don't really like how that one is. Am I able to use any phone, and then just put in the serial number and stuff like normal, or does it have to be a Virgin Mobile phone?
Hi, you can choose any phone you like but you will have to get it unlocked to the virgin network. Most independent phone shops can unlock it for you or alternatively have a look on OKorder for the phone you want and look for an 'unlocked' one. Hope this helps.

Q: I was wondering if its possible that this person I'm seeing as online is actually logged on from their mobile phone but without the mobile status next to their name? She does use Be Right Back every so often (with the red crossed out sign) but no other status could she be logging on from her phone? Or maybe from an iphone? Are there any clues that could give it away?
The way Yahoo mobile is, anything is possible. But one thing for sure it will be One or the other, it will either be a persons phone or mobile not both at the same time. for the same account. The new changes to Yahoo Mobile web messenger , it is now possible to go invisible while on Mobile now, you can changet it to anything. I never thought about what you are asking, but You may want to send a couple SMS messages and see what one is responded to. bOTH THE SMS and Yahoo ID
Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
Q: Hello, i am 13 and i am the only one in my class without a phone, i was thinking of buying one, but i heard they are pretty bad for you, i mean the radiation that comes from it so is there a mobile with low radiation ?
Jauke, ask yourself this question: how would any questions posted here be any different or better than the answers you've already heard.
