- Q: hi! i wonder if i can make a copy or print the log calls from my mobile phone like missed calls, received calls.
- Hold on a second, let me rub my crystal ball to see which mobile phone you are using Nope, not getting anything. If you are using an iPhone or Android-based mobile, I could help you. But without telling us what mobile phone you have nobody can help you. Common sense goes a long way.
- Q: Hi,I can't find a decent, easy-to-read (and understand) website which will thoroughly explain most of the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phone masts. So I decided that maybe some of you clever people could help me! You can either:a) Give me a good link to a page about the advantages and dasadvantages of mobile phone masts;OR:-b) You could type them in your answer to me if you know a few good ones already. Thanks v. v. v. much in advance! :D
- I will try to explain. The freq are such that the signal should be line of sight. So if the mast does this for u it is important, U want coax of a type that will have a minimal loss at that frequency. Now the impotent part is a directional antenna with about 10dB gain. If done right the gains should make the difference.
- Q: I am looking for a new phone as my old one broke.Any ideas on a good phone,There are a few things I need this phone have-I hate texting on mobiles with the 1-ABC Layout so QWERTY is a must-I have a budget of ?100-Camera would be nice-Mp3 would be nice-Video and memory card slots and good too-I dont care what network but O2 is not that great were I live-Dont care what brand the phone isAny phones like this? Thanks, HarryPS: I dont mind contracts as long as there under ?20 a mounth(Internet would be great as I love facebook!)
- shop.o2 .uk/mobile_phone/BlackB It's the Blackberry 8310. I think it covers what you want and on a contract for ?19.58 a month and it's for 24months with 400 texts and 200 mins. With free calls to O2 numbers. With the contract the phone is then ?97.86
- Q: Forgive me for maybe being a little stupid but i assume that a sim free unlocked mobile phone is just a plain old handset that will accept any sim card?I currently have a phone with Tesco mobile on a PAYG tariff - i assume that if i bought a sim free unlocked phone, i could take my sim card from my current phone and put it into the new one and it would work just fine? ie. i'd keep my current number and i'd stay on my PAYG tariff?
- Hi Dude if you get an unlocked phone put your current sim card in it then YES it will work fine the only thing your need to do is contact tesco customer services to get the settings for mms the internet sent to your phone so that you can still send recieve picture messages (providing it is a camera phone?) yes you will keep your same no. it will still be on the same payg tariff ! as all your account details no. etc are all programmed into the sim card ! no your not being stupid for asking the question if your unsure yes a sim free unlocked phone is just a normal phone that will accept any sim card hope this helps
- Q: a friend from school is going to give me her phone (lg rumour) there is no phone number on it and she hasn't used it since the summer time. for me to activate it, do i just go to a virgin mobile store and say that i want to activate the phone?i also want to get unlimited texting on the phone aswell. (its a prepaid phone) how do i go through with this. plus, anything else that i should know?
- If the phone is inactive right now, you can go into a Virgin Mobile store and ask to activate it. Except since it has no phone number, that might be kinda hard. For unlimited texting, I have a $25 plan that gives 300 minutes, and unlimited texting and web. While you're at the store, they can probably start you on that plan. Or you can go into your messaging settings under Balance Usage and change it from there.
- Q: if you i bought a phone from someone and i was to call t-mobile to tell them that i got a new diff type of phone would they ask for the imei number?
- Unless you're in the USA on a CDMA network, then all you do is to swap your T-Mobile SIM into the new phone. If the new phone needs a micro-SIM you can find instructions online showing how to cut it down to size, or you can order a micro-SIM (or get one free from a T-Mobile shop) and get your number ported from the old SIM to the new one (takes up to 48 hours). If the phone you've bought has been reported lost/stolen then it will get blocked and your SIM will not work on it. The phone will also not belong to you either, despite having handed over money for it. If you are on a CDMA network then you will have to tell T-Mobile the IMEI.
- Q: I just bought a virgin mobile phone.LoVeD it! But on the top of the phone where the icons are there is a GPS icon(checked in the user guide). In the guide it said it means that the location service of my phone is disabled/enabled. What does that mean??
- I have the LG Rumor Touch. I bought this phone in July and have been having issues texting every time i try to re activate my beyong talk plan. Each time this happened to me I had to call and they did an investigation on my account. I have now had 4 investigations done, because for some reason they can never solve the problem after just ONE investigation. So they know me quite well from calling in so often. So for anyone looking to buy the Rumor Touch, Dont. ANYWAY, Ive been having issues today as well. So I called in thinking it was the same issue as before, and i finally got through after like 3 phone calls and countless minutes of waiting. Apparently one of their anntenas is down and they are currently trying to fix the problem. For those of you who cant get through to their live advisors it is because so many people are calling in trying to get help. I was told to wait it out and it should be fixed tonight. If it is not fixed I would call in tomorrow and keep pushing them to fix it for you, and when they say they will call you back, get a time limit. If they dont call you back, CALL THEM. It is the only way to get what you want, trust me.
