- I have the phone. The touchscreen is very responsive and easy to use, and everything on the phone like messaging and calling is good. The 3.2 megapixel camera is also pretty good too! It has quite a few little extras that are quite nice like the basic calculator as well as a converter which is useful. The only thing i find really frustrating about the phone is that it doesnt allow you to put any content on it such as new games and applications unless they are paid for! It doesnt have a stylus as it is sometimes advertised. The other thing is it can be difficult to connect it to a pc because my laptop with vista can never locate the driver. The last complaint i have is the headphones. They're rubbish. but other then that the phone works well and is very stylish if you only want it for the basic calling, texting etc. hope this helps.

- Well unfortunately you cant make the SOS go away thats just an indicator that you dont have service. There is something you can buy called a service booster, sold at Best Buy, T - Mobile, or any online store (Amazon, OKorder, and so on) these boosters may increase your service but you cant just feed off of another network by option. The reason your phone would say Cellular One or Att is just by chance not because you could control it. Apparently those cell providers have blocked their service from t-mobile users. - I absolutely think it is too much -- a 4th grader should never be alone long enough to need a cell phone even for an emergency. I can see when they get old enough to take off for a bike ride or something like that. but otherwise it's ridiculous. - Yep, will work. I did the same with my three-band mobile phone from the states. I also bought it from T-mobile. I am German and was in the states for some time, loved my phone and took it back home, put my old sim-card in from my prepaid phone -works! No problem, other than the language I have on my phone is English now, and T9 for texting won't work with texts in German, as the vocabulary I would need to teach my phone exceeds the capacity. So I type my texts manually. But what the heck. Phone works.
