- Yes, if the work is still copyrighted (they eventually expire) then the copyright owners have the exclusive right to make copies or derivative works (transcribing it into other forms), as well as distribution or public performances, subject to certain limitations. One of those limitations is called fair use, often involving private use without any commercial gain or private profit. The mere photocopying is technically illegal, as it simply displaces the copy you SHOULD have purchased from the authorized distributors. Someone already mentioned one other exemption that involves educational use in a classroom of a non-profit school, provided the other limitations are met. Even if you go to a public library, there must be signs on the photocopy machines that instruct you about the basics of copyright law and remind you that not all copying is allowed. As for including the composer and copyright, that is common courtesy, but also insufficient to demonstrate that you have the necessary license. You could, in theory, be sued if you were to distribute photocopies of the sheet music (even for free), but there is typically little chance of anyone doing that to you for a single instance. If you take it to a retail print shop and have them run off a hundred copies, you would both be guilty of a federal felony, since they are taking money for willful infringement. - Not totally sure this would work for you... I'd hate for you to melt the plastic, but it did work for me on a velvet coat. Take a plain brown bag and put it over the wax, take an iron thats set on low or medium and iron it slowly. the bag will absorb the melted wax. you have to turn the bag as it absorbs to get... fresh non waxy bag. Good luck!

- architects routinely build scale models of buildings using foam board. it is simply styro-foam sandwiched between to pieces of poster board. it's approximately 1/4 inch thick and available in 2 foot by 3 foot sheets at most office supply stores, and can be cut easily with a craft knife or razor knife into any shape you want. thickness can be achieved by simply gluing up layers.

Electricity and water together = bad deal!So have I found the right answer?Bed is in chilly room in cold house, soft-sided with wooden frame. Will of course be using woolen, polyester, blankets on top, or maybe put the fake eiderdowns under bottom sheet and use the wool etc. over top sheet. Point is that bed will stay covered with warmth-keepers just about all the time.Am thinking of running the foil up along the side-walls. I intend to tape the sheets together into a complete large sheet.Had planned to use insulating rigid foam but decided was too much work to replace the home-made frame. Am hoping that the foil will reflect heat back into the water, not out into room.Furnace is forced-air, and electric bill in winter is Awful! IMO, at least.
- Foil won't do very much for you. It isn't an insulator of heat. It is a conductor of heat.
