Product Introduction
PVC foam board is made from polyviny chloride, with flat plate surface, it is widely used in construction, advertising display boards, mounting board, screen printing, carving, etc.
PVC foam board / sheet / pallet is the best material in block making industry as the carrier of the green blocks, it has the advantages of highest strength with smooth surface, moisture proof and heat-resistant, it can maintain stable performance under high temperature. Waterproof, anticorrosive, ametabolic and recyclable, moisture resistant, lightweight.
1 What is the difference between Polycarbonate and Acrylic?
There is lots of differences between the materials in terms of properties but the main difference is Polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable where as acrylic will shatter
2 What is the fire rating for polycarbonate sheets?
Polycarbonate is class 1 fire rating meaning it is self extinguishing
3 How do you clean Polycarbonate Sheets?
Should polycarbonate sheets require cleaning, it is recommended that luke warm water with a little detergent is used. This should be wiped over the polycarbonate's sheet surface with a soft, non abrasive cloth/sponge. Using any other form of cleaning product or oil could leave damage to your polycarbonate sheeting. Cleaning the polycarbonate dry can often leave to a scratched surface. This is due to the polycarbonate's soft surface, despite its unmatched strength to glass.
4 Can you polish the edges on Polycarbonate Sheet?
No you cannot polish edges on the sheets due to the properties of the material.
5 What thicknesses does Polycarbonate sheet come in?
The thicknesses we offer are 2mm,3mm,4mm,5mm,6mm,8mm,10mm and 12mm
4.Applications:
1. Building outdoor wall board, indoor decoration board, partition board in office and house.
2. Screen printing, flat solvent printing, engraving, billboard and exhibition display.

- Q: also...what kind of glue would i need to glue it to the bottom of a skimboard?
- Polystyrene plastic is sold in sheet form at many hobby and model shops. Evergreen is the most common brand name - available from thicknesses of 0.005 and up - cost about $3-5 for a sheet 4 x 10. The glue you use depends on both materials being put together, and also the weather and forces that will be applied to it. If both are poly styrene an acetone-based solvent suchs as Testor's or Ambroid will dissolve the plastic and thus weld it together. If theyv are differnet materials - (what is a skimboard made from and where does it go?) - I would seek some advice form someone in that hobby.
- Q: What are the advantages of using plastic sheets?
- There are several advantages of using plastic sheets. Firstly, they are lightweight and easy to handle, making them convenient for transportation and installation. Additionally, plastic sheets are highly durable and resistant to impact, moisture, and corrosion, making them suitable for various applications. They also offer excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing properties, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing noise pollution. Furthermore, plastic sheets are inherently flexible and can be easily molded into different shapes, allowing for versatile and creative uses in industries such as construction, packaging, and automotive.
- Q: Can plastic sheets be recycled?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be recycled.
- Q: Can plastic sheets be used for lampshade covers?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be used for lampshade covers. They are lightweight, durable, and can offer various design options. However, it is important to choose the right type of plastic to ensure it is heat-resistant and does not pose a fire hazard.
- Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to discoloration from outdoor exposure?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to discoloration from outdoor exposure.
- Q: How do you see the material of the plastic pallet from the color?
- Domestic blue, green, red, black, yellow, is generally made of new PP or domestic new PE material processing.
- Q: I found the perfect thickness of plastic Delrin in my garage but it's already shaped in an exact circle. The Diameter is 4 inches which is fine because I need 3.89 inch diameter in the pieces I'm cutting. I have approx. 75.3 inches of length of the delrin. Each of the pieces is really thin that I'm creating a mear .03125 inches. I need 324 pieces and a couple to spare wouldn't hurt. Does anyone know how to calculate this or is there a calculator that does this?
- Confusing question, but I think I understand what you need. There are yield calculators out there on the internet, but I will do the math for you. You would get 327 pieces of 4 diameter discs that are .03125 thick. The reason it wouldn't be more is that the saw blade will eat up material in between each cut (about .2 per cut) Just so you know, this job will be VERY difficult to do, so make sure you have proper machinery or take it to a professional. Good luck!
- Q: something thin to make cut-out necklaces from?
- You don't say how thick. In general, plexiglass (which uses a watery catalyst bonder that is instant) has to be bought in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets and is fairly expensive. You find that in companies that make custom displays for stores and conventions. The wholesalers will not sell to the public. If you want thin, paper thickness, try a blueprint house that sells supplies.
- Q: That bit of plastic sheeting you can optionally peel off of expensive gadget screen's?I want to protect my new glossy 360 from finger prints my new ipod 4. ( I know it comes with it but i want to re-place sometimes if gets too dirty) thanks.Preferably a shop name from the UK. Thanks.
- Jessops, the photo shop have them.
- Q: water has an angle of incidence of 35.0 degrees. At what angle does the light enter the air?
- Actually the plastic sheet does not enter into the problem.. Let n_w = n water = 1.33; n_p = n plastic = 1.500; n_a = n air = 1.00 Now using Snell's Law we have n_w*sin(thetaw) = n_p*sin(thetap) = n_a*sin(thetaa) See how the middle part of the eqn is not needed... So n_w*sin(thetaw) = n_a*sin(thetaa) Therefore thetaa = arcsin(n_w/n_a*sin(thetaw)) arcsin(1.33/1.0*sin(35)) = 49.7o
