Q: How do plastic tubes compare to ABS tubes in terms of impact resistance?
Plastic tubes generally have lower impact resistance compared to ABS tubes. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is known for its exceptional impact resistance, making it a preferred choice in applications where durability and resistance to impacts are crucial.
Q: GFs birthday coming up and I want to give her something special... any suggestions as to what I can make?
some dough to get a real gift. ^_^
Q: What material of buried pipeline needs to be treated with rust prevention? What kind of material needs to be treated with antiseptic, what kind of material is it made or not?
But such as corrosive or too humid environment, such as galvanized steel pipe also need anti-corrosion; there are electrochemical corrosion conditions, such as beaches, concrete, not repair steel pipe also have anti-corrosion measures; and so on.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for fluid transfer?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for fluid transfer. Plastic tubes are commonly used in various industries and applications for transferring fluids such as liquids and gases. They offer advantages such as flexibility, chemical resistance, and cost-effectiveness, making them suitable for a wide range of fluid transfer needs.
Q: I added a bit too much Oil into the engine, so I decide that I would be able to suck the oil out with some tubing. However part of the plastic tubing fell off into the dipstick hole and it possibly in the oil pan now. I call some mechanic, and ended up having some say that it will damage the engine and some saying that it will not effect the engine. Can someone give me a more in-depth explanation. On how I can remove the plastic tubing? and How is will effect the engine? Should I even drive it?
Since it it plastic and your engine gets extremely hot it will probably just melt. I will bet when you get around to it. The plastic will have already been melted. Even though its 5 inches it will just swirl around in there until it melts or untill you get it out. I dought you will be able to get it out by using a wire put its worth a try. One little piece of plastic tubing will not stop forged rods and a crankshaft from moving nor will it stop up an oil pump that has a filter on it to remove such things from entering your oil ways. And to pay somone to do that will be about 150$. About 2-2 and a half hours labor to remove and install the oil pan. Save your money itll be alright.
Q: Our side-by-side, outside water and ice collector barely lets the water come out. We have plenty of ice because it usually never used. We did notice that the plastic tubing inside the refrigerator, is wrapped many, many times in a fairly large circle, plus, there is a kink in the tubing several inches before it disappears inside of the back of the refrigerator.Should I get rid of this extra, extra tubing, along with the kink? How many feet of this tubing should be inside the fridge? Thanks to all that answer.
ours is rolled in the same position except there is no kink i just went and checked maybe thats why it dont come out good or maybe you have hard water and its clogged hope this helps you
Q: He keeps biting it. Im starting to worry because if he bites a lot isnt it dangerous? Please help. He already bit before.
It can be dangerous if he accidentally swallows a piece of plastic. And some of the plastic can break and be sharp enough to cut him. I would take them out for now and give him something else he can chew on.
Q: What are the common sizes of plastic tubes used for HVAC?
The common sizes of plastic tubes used for HVAC vary but typically range from 1/4 inch to 1 inch in diameter.
Q: What about plastic pipe leaking?
Common leakage of different types of water pipes1, water pipe leakage reason: this situation generally belongs to relatively minor, it is not difficult to solve, it is because the water pipe and faucet did not connect well.2, the leakage of water pipe: water pipe hardening or long time foreign matter blocked the water pipe, resulting in rupture.3, iron pipe leakage reason: iron water pipe in general situation is because of long time dripping water, did not change the pipe in time, lead to water pipe rust corrosion.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for insulation purposes?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for insulation purposes. They can help prevent heat transfer and provide thermal protection in various applications, such as HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical wiring. Plastic tubes with proper insulation properties can effectively reduce energy loss and enhance overall efficiency.
