- Q:We have two Huskies that are really hard on beds. We have tried all the ones at the big pet stores. They are all cheap egg crate foam. We want the best quality bed that wont break down. Anyone have ideas?
- From experience on wasting my money on beds, we got a big hard plastic dog basket from a second hand site for cheap and use a blanket folded up to fit in the basket. The blanket is just cotton with a little soft filling so fur does not stick to it and it washes easily. The best part about it is that I can lay it outside, bring it with me anywhere and the dog still knows this as his bed without the basket. Usually the pillow ones I found are too big and get ruined too quickly because they are not easy to wash. I've had the same blanket and basket that 4 dogs now have shared for 8 years. :-)
- Q:if u have a stall mat should u still use bedding?
- Apparently not totally necessary, but I think a wedge of straw or some woodshavings would be warmer and encourage some shyer horses to lie down and to have a pee. It is true that you would need far less than you need without the rubber matting. I have never seen rubber matting, but I am sure that a little would help the horse relax.
- Q:I have recently been getting a lot of small itchy spots on my shouldersand a few on my chest...I just thought it was a bit of acne or something at first... the other day though I happened to see a tiny little bug on my bed sheet and I thought it was like a little tiny tick or something.. it was quite transparent. - Q:I know thats two questions!! lolbut I want to take my daughter out of her crib, she is 17 months and her crib was given to us and not in good condition anymore... buying another crib would be a waste. I bought a toddler bed, because we thought we were moving to a bigger place and have to stay here 4 more months... i'm not setting it up yet.I was going to wait to move to set it up, but now Im afraid she will fall off!!!and think its a total waste and want to buy a regular single bed and put bed rails on the sides for safety... what do you think??what do you think of Toddler beds???should I get her a single bed instead or use a toddler bed.... - I personally don't much care for toddler beds. But I waited until my kids were over 2 before I moved them to a big bed. I do know people who moved right to a big bed with rails with young ones. Some people just get the mattress on the frame and don't put on a boxspring so to keep it lower. It is really more a matter of preference.

- Unlikely -that's because any child still small enough for a crib is going to be far too small to go into a top bunk.

- Do NOT use wood shavings unless you are sure they're aspen. Other types of shavings can be harmful to a rats lungs. Also, I don't suggest using straw. If the rats are playing around and one of them turns around, they could stab their eye on a stiff piece of straw. It also doesn't seem like it would do much absorbing either.
