Q: What does tower crane 400tm mean?
Lifting torque of 400 tons. Meters, also known as 4000KN/m, refers to the QTZ400 tower crane, the general maximum lifting capacity of 25 tons, big arm 70 meters, the most front-end hanging 5.2 tons, independent height of about 70 meters. Normally we say QTZ40 tower crane is lifting torque of 40 tons. Meters, 400KN/m.
Q: ...the crate weighs 4000N when resting on the ground. Find the followinga)The tension in the cable necessary to do thisb)The work done by the cablec)The work done by gravityd)The total work done by the systeme)The final velocity of the crate
One-fifth of a g is 1.96 m/s?. The mass of the crate is... m = F / a = 4,000 N / 9.8 m/s? = 408 kg The force of the crane must be greater than that of the force of gravity. The acceleration must therefore greater as well. 9.8 m/s? + 1.96 m/s? = 11.8 m/s? a) T = ma = 408 kg x 11.8 m/s? = 4.81 x 10^3 N b) W = Fd = (4.81 x 10^3 N) x 25.0 m = 1.20 x 10^5 J c) W = Fd = 4,000 N x 25.0 m = 1.00 x 10^5 J d) W (total) = W (crane) + W (gravity) = (1.20 x 10^5 J) + (1.00 x 10^5 J) = 2.20 x 10^5 J e) v (final) = (v? + 2a?x)^(1/2) = ((0 m/s)? + (2 x 1.96 m/s? x 25.0 m))^(1/2) = 9.90 m/s I'm sure that all of my answers are correct. If anything is incorrect, please e-mail me again. Best of luck to you Jim.
Q: for my homework : the question was explain how a skyscraper crane uses physics moments but no where can i find out the answer and dont want a detention ekkk x
OK... So what has your homework actually asked you to explain? Can you post the question...? There are moment forces going through a crane, is the aim of the homework simply for you to explain what a moment force is using a specific example ? A crane can be thought of in simple terms as a cantilever, ie one supported end and one free end, the lever arm force as it is sometimes referred to in schools is actually the moment force i.e. the moment for a crane with a boom L=40m long lifting a load of P=10kN would beP*L = 10*40 = 400 kNm, this is ignoring the self weight of the boom, if the boom weighed W=1.5kN/m (thats per meter, not to be confused with kNm which is kilo newton meters) then the moment generated by the self weight would be (WL^2)/2 = (1.5*40^2)/2 = 1200kNm so the total moment would be 1600kNm, so just remember for a point load the moment is force * distance from support ( in cantilevers) hope this helps... :)
Q: Iv done some research and I cant seem to find a place that might sell jibs locally here in Phoenix. Iv been considering the ProAm DVC 200 crane but I would also like to see others in like a store. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!
I went down that path last year in the SF Bay Area in California. I could not find a store that carried any cranes or jibs - so I just started asking around. Stay away from any that use cables to keep the stage steady - we used one at a shoot - setting up is an interesting challenge. I thought I wanted the same unit you are looking at - and decided I needed to trust the crane a bit more with my HDR-FX1... I had to wait longer to save more $, but I really like the crane and tripod kit I ended up with... from Kessler Crane... I never got to see it before I bought it and I was, um... nervous... but I am glad I made the investment - and Eric Kessler is REALLY helpful and great to work with. One of the other cranes I looked at uses a heavy duty PA speaker stand as its tripod base. After watching light trees and PA speakers fall over because of leg failure, I could not bring myself to trust them to hold my camcorder. I can STAND or JUMP on the Kessler tripod and it does not budge. It is rock-steady and really strong. The Hercules head is silk-smooth and the crane-arm and camera stage are steady and easy to manipulate. After a little practice, it now takes me about 10-15 minutes from the time I start unpacking until I am ready to start shooting. That includes mounting the camcorder, setting the counterweights, mounting a portable DVD player with AV-in as the monitor mounted to the tripod-head so I can see what the camcorder is shooting and running the AV, headphone and LANC cables and making the whole thing pretty with velcro strips.
Q: Has anyone ever folded 1000 paper cranes? If so did your wish come true? If it did come true what did you wish for? :) Thanks so much!
Yes i have. For a college friends wedding. The groom makes at least one crane. She was from Hawaii and it's one of the Philippine traditions. There's a story that goes along with it. In Hi there are companies that will take the flat cranes and form them into another design. like a vase or something that can be framed. I think her wish was just to get them finished within 1 week before the wedding... ;) We DID! That was luck in itself. not sure if her real wish came true.
Q: Tower crane 5610 why call QTZ63 tower crane, 5613 call QTZ806015, call QTZ100
The name of QTZ is the former mechanical standard, Q refers to the crane, T refers to the tower, Z is to indicate the self lifting, and the latter figure represents the nominal torque, the unit is T.M (the standard unit is KN.m)The type of "QTZ63" indicates the hoisting tower crane with nominal lifting torque up to 630KN.m;The type of "QTZ80" indicates the hoisting tower crane with nominal lifting torque up to 800KN.m;
Q: I am having trouble thinking of girls names that go well with my last name, Crane.my favorite name is lily but i think it sounds bad with my last nameand i like the name emma and i think that it goes well with crane but i think it might be too commonso if any of you can think of names that are not super common (not unheard of either) that go well with crane that would be awesome. Thanks!

Q: Two Cranes have been sitting on nest for about 50 days. Will these 2 eggs hatch. They will not leave. It is their 3 Clutch. The first one resulted in a baby colt, but it got hit by car. The second never hatched.
What species of crane? Sandhill cranes have an incubation time of around 30 days, do you know the exact day of egg laying? Are you sure they haven't hatched and they are sitting on chicks? If you are getting close enough to the nest to see eggs or chicks, you might be too close and could be interfering with their natural behavior, unless they are captive or you are using a blind. You mentioned their chick being hit by a car, so if they are nesting that close to people, they may be nervous and are flushed from the nest too often to keep the eggs the right temperature. It's hard to say without more information. Edit: Extra cold weather can damage the eggs. It does seem like they've lost this clutch-50 days is long past when they should have hatched. They may be trying to incubate them anyway, I haven't worked directly with sandhills, but other birds that I've conducted nest monitoring studies on have sometimes sat on nests a while past when the eggs should have hatched. Hopefully this is actually their fourth clutch and you missed the removal of the third clutch. Good luck!
Q: In Stephen Crane's novel The Red Badge of Courage, why is the war itself not even named?
There are references in the book to events during the Civil War. In addition, the time of publication by this American author left no doubt in any American's mind which war it referred to. The Spanish American war happened after publication and the primary war on everyone's minds was still the Civil War.
Q: i want to know about the origami cranes
hi, Origami is approximately paper folding. For the magic trick, see Origami (magic trick). For the Microsoft undertaking till now conventional as Origami, see extremely-cellular laptop. the classic origami crane and papers of the comparable length used to fold it Origami cranes Origami from oru which skill folding, and kami which skill paper) is the classic eastern artwork of paper folding. The purpose of this artwork is to create a representation of an merchandise employing geometric folds and crease types ideally with out gluing or reducing the paper, and employing in basic terms one piece of paper. Origami in basic terms makes use of a small variety of diverse folds, yet they may well be blended in a sort of person-friendly guidance on the thank you to make problematic designs. the main properly conventional kind is probable the eastern paper crane. many times, those designs start up with a sq. sheet of paper whose aspects may well be diverse colorations or prints. opposite to maximum conventional theory, classic eastern origami, which has been practiced because of the fact the Edo era (1603–1867), has commonly been much less strict approximately those conventions, each and every so often reducing the paper for the duration of the introduction of the layout.
