Q: how many kilometer distance in nine trillion light years
9 × 10^12 light years = 8.51447556 × 10^25 kilometers Let me clarify that the light year is a unit of DISTANCE; the distance light travels in one year in a vacuum.
Q: I need to have definitions (they can be very short) for the following drama lighting terms by tomorrow:GoboGeneral WashUpLight/ Down LightSide LightFront Light/ Back LightBarn DoorsFloor LightStrobeMoversGelsStraw WashProjectionSnap CueCrossfadesSpotlightFollow SpotBreak-Up Gobo
Gobo - small peice of metal on the front of a lantern to 'project' a pattern e.g. a Cloud General Wash - big floodlight controlled by LX operator Up light - Light going up a wall Down light - Light going down a wall Barn doors - The little flaps (often on TV) 4 - move them to create a square/rectangle light Floor light - Otherwise known as floor can - sits on the floor to light Strobe - Flashing light - very fast! Movers - they swivel around and can often 'project' the little moving lights often on TV sets Gels - coloured sheets infront of light for colour lights Straw wash - Never heard of it! Projection - image produced by digital projector Snap cue - very fast change on lighting cue. e.g. CUT! and all lights turn on quickly Crossfades - From one cue to the other crossing over/fading slowly. From left to right. Spotlight - one single spot of light on a person/object Follow spot - one single spot of light on a person/object moved by an operator and adjustable whilst working Break-up gobo - blotchy patterns that produce a texture of light Hope this helps!
Q: Is high value dark and low value light? Or is HIgh value very dark or light and low value is not dark or not light.
Generally light or dark is called value, but dark is dark value, not high value. High value is expensive. Low value means cheap. It's light or a light value.
Q: I've been looking for a brief description on what light attenuation in water is. Please help!
Light is absorbed as it travels through water, so that less and less light is present the deeper one goes. The process of light intensity being reduced is called attenuation.
Q: i have to think of a song for science about light help!
Heartlight by Neil Diamond (1980's) Blinded By The Light by Manfred Mann's Earth Band (1970's) Light My Fire by The Doors (60's)
Q: I have a ford fiesta ( MK 5 ) my tail lights work fine.. but both the brake lights do not.. however the main centre light bar in the rear windscreen does work fine
your brake lights and signal are on same filament in bulb . turn key on and try signal lights. if they dont work ethier then you have a bad ground near frame on back of car. but mos likly is the sockes are corroded and need to be cleaned. you might just have a rare instance where both bulbs burned out . if you replace bulbs dont touch new glass with bare hands the oil from fingers traps heat and they will burn out quiker. if u need more info email me. thse cars plus the focus are famous for headlamps and tail light bub , brake, burn out. your bar in the center is led lights they never burn out.
Q: I am wondering what the best type of lighting system to get would be on my grow box. I have seen grow boxes with metal halide lights, high pressure sodium light, LED lights, and fluorescent lights. What is the best light for hydroponics and yields?
they do have grow light you know
Q: when you turn the key two clicks on the ignition and it shows all those lights like check engine or whatever, do those lights mean you need to check something or something is wrong? cause my battery light goes on and my check engine light but when the car starts the battery light goes away and the check engine light stays on, im not worried about the check engine light cause i know whats wrong just the battery light
the light are there for a reason go to auto zone and have them check it, its free. probly just a wire problem
Q: Introduction to the courtyard lights
Fluorescent lamp, energy saving lamp is a low pressure mercury vapor arc discharge lamp
Q: 3.White objects absorb no colored light and reflect all; black objects absorb all light and reflect none. Why should we wear dark clothes in the winter and light-colored clothes in the summer?
The color of an object depends on the reflection and the absorbtion of light. How? Actually, the color of an object depends on three things, the light source, the object properties, and the human observer. All three are necessary for an object to have color. As far as the object itself, it is the property of absorbing different amounts of the various wavelengths of light that impart color to the object. Whatever light is not absorbed is either reflected or transmitted and that is what we see. Darker colors absorb it, and light reflects it. Hence, darker colors are hotter because they hold in the heat.
