- Q: I have a Acer Aspire 3000 labtop. Everytime I remove my battery pack, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. works without freezing (like factory setting). Whenever the battery pack is put back in, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. freezes up and I cant shut down the computer or work the touch pad. - the wii remote and the Wii remote plus are the same size. the only reason the wii remote plus is ever longer is because to make the senor work better ( the pluse part) you need to attach a large block to the end of the normal remote. the remote with it built in is the same size.

- I use Nickle Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries for everything now. They are pricey, but have great power and last a long time if you remember to fully drain them before a recharge, and fully charge them each time you recharge them. - Just use a pair of diodes with the cathodes (band end) to the power regulator for the Pi, one of the diode anodes going to the battery pack output, the other to the charger input jack, which also goes to your charge regulator.
