- typically the lights right next the the headlight are call corner lights and the ones on the bumper are simply bumper lights.
- Q:Is light from a light bulb polarized?? How can you tell or how do you know if a type of light is polarized??
- Light from a lightbulb is NOT polarized. You can tell if you get a pair of polaroid sunglasses (or a polarized light filter) and rotate your head from side to side while looking at the lightbulb. That is to say, first tilt your head way to the left and then move your head so it tilts way to the right, looking at the lightbulb the whole time. If the intensity of the bulb appears to go dark at some point, then that would be evidence of polarized light. However, I don't think you will observe such changes in intensity, indicating the light from the bulb is not polarized.

- brighter lights stress out low light fish like blind cave fish and things like that. it also changes what color they look. yellow light brings out colors better, and flourescent lights tend to wash colors on fish. also if you tun on a bright fish tank light in a totally dark room, it can cause the fish to have a heart attack and die. that is about all they fish related light information i know :) hope i helped :)

- First, do the service (oil change, etc.) then with ignition off, push and hold the odometer reset button. Turn on the ignition (don't crank the engine over) and continue to hold the button. Several dashed lines will appear where the odometer display is normally. hold the button until these disappear. the light will come back on in about 4500 miles when you turn the engine on. It will stay on for a few seconds then turn off. When the light is on all of the time, you have reached the max oil change interval.

- Definitely 6,000K, 4,300K would be even better (that's OEM grade, sunlight-white color and provides the highest light output - the higher the K's, the lower the light output). 6,000K is just beginning to have a bluish note. Color temperatures (K) above that are no good. Besides, bluish light causes eye fatigue and is no good under poor visibility conditions (snow, sleet, fog...). If your headlamp covers (lenses) are opaque, yellowish and similar, have them polished - that may greatly improve the situation. Check also the reflector (mirror) surface conditions. If they are bad, the best policy is to replace both headlamps.
- Q:I will have 100lbs of live rock and I want to know if his is fine? Not the full length of the aquarium but not far from it. 1 daylight 10k and a actinic 10k. I will get a timer and make the lights turn on at 7a.m. But before that, I wake up at 6 for school, so I will turn on room light. Its not that bright. Turn off room light at 7 and timer begins at 7. later at night timer will turn lights off at 7 and from 7-8 I'll have room light on. Led lights from 8p.m. To 6p.m. Will this be a good routine for a FOWLR set up? I also have live sand if that effects anything. The lighting is 24 watt each. Is this enough for LR and LS? - your lighting set up will probably cause a lot of algae growth the lighting should be limited to 8 hours each day this means both natural (sunlight) and artificial (both room light and aquarium light) the timer is a good idea for the on/off cycle (i use 2 timers one for morning(white light) and one(blue light) for night)
