- Hi, Marinewife. Sure you can. Bathroom sinks are fairly standardized for faucet mounting. Basic instructions should come with the new one. The work's all done under the sink. Tools suggested would be a "basin wrench", a "crescent" wrench, and "channel lock" pliers, plus some plumber's tape. Note that there may or may not be small chrome valves under the sink to shut off the water supplies. If not, you'll need to turn off your main water supply valve downstairs when you start the work. If you were coming to my store, you'd have what you needed and know how to do it before you left.
