Q: I have a Kohler (sp) faucet in my master bath that's come loose. I've looked underneath for some kind of bolt to tight, but I don't see anything there to tighten. I'm wondering if it was fitted badly and the means to tighten it lays between the plywood and the granite top. Q: i got the old faucet off just fine, but am having trouble reconnecting the water supply. every time i try to screw it on it starts out fine when i twist it on with my fingers, but as soon as i try to tighten it further with the basin wrench both hot and cold lines screw on very crooked. after a couple of tries i thought maybe it wouldnt cause that much of a problem so after i turned them as far as they would go i turned the valves back on to see and water sprayed everywhere. what am i doing wrong?: You cross-threaded the faucet and possibly the connecting lines. I've notice that there is a little ring that is loose, any idea on how to fix this loose problem...: you will have to take the center cap off and remove the screw the handle is stripped take it to home depot or lowes and get a new 1. if its old enough that you cant find a new handle you can buy a new faucet and install it for under 30 bucks good luck

Any answers appreciated, especially if you have done this yourself! :): It depends where it goes and what is its intended use. A standard stainless steel double sink for the kitchen. Why? You wash dishes on one side, rinse water on the other side and into dish-tray to dry. If there are too many pots and pans in the wash up, I drain the rinse water in the cleaner sink and leave the pots and pans in there to drip dry. After a couple hours everything can be put away as drying towel is not needed. So simple. Much more of a hassle with just a single sink. Also shows a "cheap builder" Sure a double "may" cost a few more bucks. The practicality outweighs the cost. And considering you have enough counter space. Why stainless steel? What are your knives, forks, spoons, and pots made out of? If you use them to cook food day after day, stainless-steel is the only way to go. And the sinks should be identical in size (for we are all not right handed - and if you wanted to sell the house later--the left handers will decide right there(because the plumbing would have to be changed for them to flip the sink around) Extra cost so they will try to have the price reduced by that much or so.
