Q: Hi, im looking for a nice looking laptop like the sony Vaio Z but for price 300-400 dollars. and its not complete ****.
Sony has a good reputation and the build quality is excellent, but you should also consider other brands - there are dozens of them - Acer, HP, Dell, Samsung, Lenovo, Asus all have good names and make quality products. Before you go jumping in though, ask yourself what will I use it for and then check the following points: Do I need a CD/DVD drive? - lots of software is still supplied on optical media, so check before you buy Is the size or weight important? - it will be if you have to carry it far! Do I have existing software I want to use? - if so make sure the new one is compatible Will I need to type much, or is it just for email/web browsing? Laptop keyboards and track-pads vary enormously, so if this is important TRY before you BUY Will I use it outdoors? - screen resolution is important, and many laptops are difficult to see in daylight. Some also have highly reflecting screens that make it hard to see in bright light. Don't forget, if you find the ideal machine but it falls short in one area you can sometimes work around it e.g. poor trackpad - get an external USB mouse; hard drive is small - get an external drive (cheap as chips these days), or even a large capacity memory stick. I would seriously advise you to visit a store and see/touch/use the machine you fancy before buying - you can always buy online to get the best price once you know which one you want. There are tons of resources online, so check around and Good Luck in your search!
Q: How are they helpful to the laptops? Please help me understand.
My laptop is a couple of years old, I don't use a cooling fan my pc is on always on high performance. I use it as a desktop at my bar, that way I don't have a bunch of wires bulky hardware. Anyways, laptop's been on for months only periodically gets rebooted, no problems thus far.
Q: I was doing some research on getting a new laptop and stumbled across this brand. I asked around geek circles (trade chat in Ogrimmar on WoW) and got a pretty good response from those that knew of them.I dont think consumer reports has gotten hold of any of Sagers laptops but i dont know if thats just because of their customization.a major plus for the is they offer LIFETIME Technical Support on all their laptops.
Hi as a owner of both I highly rate the Alienware make although i don't have the 'm17' model the are an outstanding quality make and have great client support, fast processors and they hold there value amazingly. Also put it this way - 'You get what you pay for.' So pay for the Alienware and get an amazing machine.
Q: i want a ps3 and a laptop i want both of them please help me.
i would so go for the laptop cuz the ps3 can only play ps3 gamesbut with a laptop u can download games that a ps3 wouldnt hav
Q: i want to download a bluetooth on my laptop
You cannot download Bluetooth on a laptop, the laptop has to have in-built Bluetooth, only certain laptops have Bluetooth in-built.
Q: i'm currently using intel centrino,2g DDR2 ram,my laptop is acer travelmate 3212now my laptop is using intel graphic media accelerator.i want to change my graphic card like ATI or else.can i??
NO. Older laptops have no way to change or add graphic capabilities. Some newer laptop do have. Yours doesn't.
Q: I want to buy a laptop.Which laptop company should I go for?I want it $500 down
Dell
Q: All laptops and notebooks have their own inbuilt screens. They are all specially built to fit the casing of the laptop/notebook.However, many of them are also specially built such that they cannot be used in other laptops or notebooks.Likewise, these laptops and notebooks also cannot simply connect to other monitors to use them. Are there any laptop or notebook screens that are more vendor neutral? This is to say you can detach them from the laptop/notebook and connect them to another different laptop/notebook or even a normal desktop to use it?Are there such laptop/notebook screens?
actually most laptop screen fit on other brand laptops, you just have to find em, i fixed a Toshiba notebook, and replaced its broken screen with an HP laptops screen, they had the same structure, and connections, didn't have a problem at all
Q: I want to buy a new laptop for $500 or less. It needs to be a laptop and NOT a netbook. Any recommendations, please?
Dell Inspiron 14 Pros: The large display and fast processor makes tasks on this laptop easy. Cons: This Dell laptop has a short battery life along with lacks a webcam or bluetooth capabilities. The Verdict: If you desire a laptop with a lot of power, this is a worthy option for you.
Q: Could you guys recommend some laptops about 500 to 600 dollars?
If it is just for general use, then any that suits you budget, I recommend a Windows 7 64 bit Operating System, wth 4GB of memory, hard drive 500GB or better. I an not in favour of a laptop being used for gaming, and you wouldn't get one in that price range anyway? Toshiba, Acer Sony and ASUS. Some mdels of ASUS are coming out with a hybrid REVO drive SSD/ Spindle, which would make them very fast, but as for cost?
