Q: I am doing an energy audit for a plastic manufacturing company for my final year university project.The company runs on 3 phase and has a large variety of different machinery (blow molders, injection molders, compressors, refrigerators etc) I am required to measure each component and determine how much is contributed to the monthly electricity bill. What is the best way to do this? Is there any pieces of equipment I can use (such as something similar to the kill-a-watt) which can attach to the machine and measure kW usage?The machines run on demand so therefore taking an average from the specifications would be too inaccurate.NEED SOME HELP PLEASE :(: If it runs on demand, whatever you put down will be correct. Let them prove you wrong! Or you could guestimate how long they are used each day and take the nameplate power rating off the machine, then do the math.

Q: What machinery is used to make sugar? From digging the ground to harvesting.......: Sugar is obtained from a corn-like cane that grows in tropical places, It is planted from small cut portions of the cane into the soil already prepared and fertilized, when the canes get as high as 6 feet, and the leaves start to get yellow, is harvested, in many places its burnt to get ready of the leaves with sharp cutting edges and some dangerous snakes that usually nest in the plantations. The cane itself as is full with sweet liquid doesn't burn and is collected and carried to the mill. The first part of the extraction is to pass the canes through a press of rollers that press the syrup out, keeping the dry cane to be used for fuel to use in the boilers. The syrup is boiled and the water is removed leaving a very dense paste that is then dried with hot air to get raw sugar in large crumbs, this crums are milled to get what is known as brown sugar in cystaline form. The brown sugar doesn't have any chemicals and is almost 100% from dried syrup. From the brown sugar, is processed white sugar by means of adding some chemicals to whiten and remove the sugar cane flavor that comes with the original syrup. The final product is what we buy at the store. The boilers designed for sugar mills are unique for they are able to work with the dry cane as with oil, reducing considerably the cost of operation. There are some by-products very important that make sugar mills a great industry, the process of drying produce also a burned taste sediment called molasses high in calories that is also comercialized as stock food.

Q: My neighbors just woke me up with extremely loud chainsaws!! Is there some rule about this??: I would say 9 am is an acceptable time. Anything earlier is rude. I would go over and talk with them and ask them to wait till 9 if it's bothering you.

Q: I would like an example workout routine thank you! :): Here's a basic workout routine. 5 sets of 20 pushups 5 sets of 10 triangle pushups. 1 minute plank 3 times. 5 sets of 20 crunches 5 sets of 20 leg lifts 5 sets of 20 V-crunches 5 sets of 20 bicycle crunches. 5 sets of 15 jumping squats. Take a 30 second break in between each set and a 1 minute in between each exercise. If you're unfamiliar with any of these exercises just google them. If this seems a bit too intense for you, you can modify it as you please and then work up to the suggested workout. It's better if you do this every other day since it is quite intense. Remember to do 10 minutes of stretching before and after the workout. Do cardio the next day. I got results with this in the first 2 weeks, and got amazing results within 2 months. Just remember to have a healthy diet and stick to the workout routine too. Luck.
