Q: My kid wants to pet a crane fly because it's cool but I don't want to keep it around as a pet. I'm not a fan of crane fly. How should I tell him no? Also, I'd like to explain to him besides the fact that it disgusts me: I don't like insects.
Hi!! wong-say Why say no? Just put on in a jar and tell the little chap that they have to stay out side in the fresh air. then it will fly away and the matter is over plus the lad has learned that it is impossible. everyone is happy then.
Q: Tower crane railing height is greater than or equal to meters
1500cm underground enclosure shall not be less than 100com. Thank you
Q: if someone have formula for that, one telescopic crane is lifting and i know about the boom lenght and redius, then how i can calculate the angle,if crane crane angle indicator is not working.thankyou.
You can figure out your angle with the Pythagorean method. Also, you should NEVER operate a crane with any indicator device not functioning. This in violation of OSHA law and many state and local laws. If there is any damage or injury you will be held negligent..
Q: I'm a bit confused as to what happened to him. I guess I skimed a bit at a certain important part of the book. When Seneca Crane's name was written on the dummy during training, why did the people gasp at the name written in berry juice? What happened to him? PS. I am at the begining of Mockingjay. So no spoilers please. (:
The same thing happened to me when i was reading the second book. I was so confused because i didn't understand why they were making such a big deal about this person that i didn't remember anything about. But Seneca Crane was the game maker in the first book. He was murdered by Snow and the Capital because Snow blamed Seneca for the fact that two people made it out of the Hunger Games. Hope this helps!
Q: single shard pls need awnser quick 8th grade lit test
wise, caring, lighthearted courageous survivor Assuming you've read the book , you'll need to find examples to prove these characteristics.
Q: or is jason mraz just making up things for lyrics?
No. They are lifted into place in sections by one or more other cranes, the telescopic arm kind, which are either in a nearby street or on the building site. I watched several being built and then dismantled over a period of three years at a large development across the street from my house. However, I saw a TV programme about how they built one on top of a mountain, and there they used helicopters to lower the sections into place.
Q: How to calculate life span of steel structure? for example, crane?
With bridges that you would be able to calculate an anticipated lifespan. It is going to now not be very particular. You measure the deflection as a given load goes over it. You also measure deflection with average site visitors. You are taking measurements of what normal visitors is. With this knowledge that you would be able to undertaking lifespan and prefer exchanging bridges earlier than they crumple. Once I was once a engineering student I had a summer time job serving to to experiment bridges. Most bridges and gigantic constructions are designed to are living 50 years I believe. For constructions I have no idea of any measurements you would take. I think it is most often a matter of periodic inspections. The things to seem for are basis problems, cracking of concrete, exposed re-bar, concrete flaking off etc.
Q: I'm 17 and I was planning on reading it for class, do you think it will be easy to read?
Stephen Crane, Maggie is fantastic! I read it in school when I was 14 so I have no doubt you will have no problems in reading it. Maggie is the tale of an inevitable fall from grace on the part of a young, innocent girl trapped in the vicious world of New York City's slums. Yearning for acceptance and love, beaten at home by alcoholic parents, Maggie sets out with Pete, a local bartender whose cultured mannerisms elicit great respect from the impressionable young girl. However, when Pete spurns her for another, Maggie is ejected out onto the street, forced into prostitution to make a living. We last see her moving off, a huge, oily fat man in tow, for a darkened corner in the city's seedy underworld. If Upton Sinclair's The Jungle is a torrent of social anger and protest, Crane's Maggie is like a brilliant lightning strike, flashing across our vision and leaving us temporarily blinded. The book--scarcely 70 pages--is succint, brutish, and merciless. Crane allows his readers to form their own opinions regarding the characters. His innovative use of near-phonetic spelling to depict in the reader's ear the local dialect of New York's rough neighborhoods was shocking and difficult to comprehend when the book was first released. It lends Maggie an air of earthy legitimacy. Ultimately, Maggie is a cry for the plight of poor children--the souls we overlook with a callous unease mirrored in Pete's offhand, uncaring rejection of young Maggie's genuine love and affection. It is, without qualification, Stephen Crane's greatest and most moving achievement.
Q: I need help to find the meaning of Chinese proverb A crane standing amidst a flock of chickens.
Probably similar to, 'it stands out like a sore thumb.'
Q: Whenever a vista shot of London comes up, there are a ridiculous amount of cranes. What's up? Are they always building something?
I have no idea why I'm even wasting my time writing this non sense that won't end up helping you what so ever. If I knew the answer to your question I wouldn't mind helping you but considering I'm almost on the other side of the planet, California, I have no idea what to tell you. I guess I just want the points so I can ask a question myself...it's probably the Indians or Pakistanis.
