- Q: I laid down my pavers beautifully, gave them some time to settle, and then swept the polymeric sand into the joints. I was very careful to get as much of the sand off the actual pavers as possible, but inevitably there was still a light dusty residue that couldn't be swept off. I misted the pavers as advised (4 times in 20 min increments), and when everything dried up, my pavers looked terrible! There is an obvious residue left on the pavers. We tried scrubbing with a wire brush, but that changed the texture of the pavers. I am hearing that vinegar and a regluar (less abrasive) brush might work? How about a power washer? Has anyone else gone through this beforeif so, please help!
- Isolate which detector may be doing it. Did you buy the same brand and simply plug it into the same connector without touching the wires? There may be a loose connection at the splice or at the interface plug to the detector. Each detector Should have 4 wires in the box (and 4 leaving to the next one) Ground, white black and red. The grounds get tied up together. The black is hot, white neutral and the red should carry the interconnect to each one. Check the wire and the wire nuts with the power off. Hold the wire nut, and tug at each wire to make sure none are loose. Since you have the same problem with brand new units it's likely a loose connection at the wire nut or the interface plug.
- Q: What is the speed limit in the erogenous zone?
- 1.Safety Glasses 2.Welding mask 3 gloves 4.Hard Hat 5.Safety Vest 6.Ear Protection 7.First aid supplies
- Q: What is Mandatory Access Control and Why is it better than Discretionary Access Control?
- No just no, but hell no! There are huge risk factors with both TO and Mendenhall. Witten, imo, occupies sole place as a Tier One TE and a first rounder is a first rounder. Witten basically has WR (not TE) status.
- Q: Our church furnace uses heating oil. Do we need carbon monoxide detectors?
- Fire is a rapid oxidation process releasing light and heat. You need 3 parts of a fire triangle to make fire. Heat, fuel and oxidizer (usually air). If you break the triangle you break the chain reaction and the fire goes out. Use of water is most common. Water actually cools the substance burning to a point it stops putting out flammable vapors. It is the vapors that actually burn causing destruction of the object. Water does not put out fire by removing oxygen. It is used because it is usually plentiful and available. Flammable liquids like gasoline are best extinguished by a smothering chemical like a dry powder extinguisher or special foams that smother the fire. The problem with gasoline is it puts out its vapors at a temperature as low as about -38 degrees F. As soon as the smothering blanket breaks it is putting out vapors that can reach an ignition source. Electrical equipment is best extinguished by making sure the power is off then attacking the fire with what you normally would use, like water or chemicals. There are some agencies like NASA that have developed special systems that use inert cryogenics like liquid nitrogen to protect rockets, etc.
- Q: I am just curious, that has to be something else besides that, a unknown element or so..?
- Personally I'd go with Shimano, but their both decent rods
- Q: Is it illegal to not mark speed bumps in Canada?
- Has your friends son seen a doctor ? It is absolutely un-natural for a fourteen year old not to be able to control his bladder. More than likely he has a medical condition that is causing this problem. I would suggest that she make an appointment ASAP, as there are several rather serious medical conditions that could be contributing to this, one being that he may be Diabetic. Diabetes is very serious and not something to mess around about. If her son has it he needs to be monitored very closely by a Doctor. There are many other physical problems that a Diabetic needs to watch for and know about too. Even if its not Diabetes, there has to be some kind of medical problem there, so please tell her to take her Son to a doctor.
- Q: Hi All, Just seeking some advice for a project that I'm helping the kids I childmind with. They've been given a project for their school science fair that involves coming up with a model automatic fire sprinkler that releases about a cupful of water on to a small can of burning waste paper, placed in the centre of a cardboard box (representing a building). We've played around with several ideas (e.g. balloon stretched over the mouth of a water bottle full of water and suspended from the roof, and a closed plastic tube of water leading from a siphon, running along the roof). When we tried them, though, the water on the other side of the plastic / rubber stopped them from melting and the water just stayed put. If anyone has any suggestions, we'd all be really grateful - we've incinerated too many box houses already! Thanks so much for your time. x
- Probably. If the boy has a father he should be talking with your neighbor. He should make it clear that if he catches your neighbor taping your son, the video camera will be shoved up his a$$.
- Q: I am purchasing winter tires soon and don't know if I should get them with studs or without. I live in an area where it snows like crazy, I just moved here. Before I moved here I would just put two winter ones on the front (I have a front wheel drive car) and I'm good, so my knowledge of winter tires is slim.I know it's going to be nasty here. I heard that studded tires make it difficult to break and make clear roads feel like you are driving on ice. Is this true? What are your experiences? What do you think my safest choice would be?
- UM. if the building was on fire and there was no way out and someone had huge blanket ready for me to drop her then i will think about it but for no freakin reason or any religion reasons i will laugh at it. I am so glad i am in America. -_- if that happened in public you would most likely end up behind the bars.
- Q: I've got one in the kitchen, but realized that the floor plan of my apartment could trap me in the bedroom if I'm there while a fire starts in the kitchen. I suppose you could put one in every room of the house, but that's expensive, takes up space, and is generally unattractive. Maybe just place one nearest where fires are likely to occur (kitchen) and another where you sleep?
- Get him rawhide. It's hard, which means it's fun to chew on, and it's a food product for dogs, so it's safe.
- Q: What is the fine for parking in a fire lane and close to a fire hydrant in Arizona?
- Glowing night, Glowing Snow Bright light Twinkle bright Love Season Cold Blow Chill of light setting snow
