Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

- Q: In California, it is the law to install carbon monoxide detectors in addition to smoke detectors in a rental single family unit.Do I have to replace the smoke detectors I have hard-wired and battery back-up with the new kind which is a combination of smoke-and-carbon monoxide ? Or, can I leave the smoke detectors there and just install the battery operated carbon monoxide ? The big reason is that I saw the new kindcombination carbon monoxideandsmoke detectors at Home Depot, and they are $ 55.00 each. - You were right it sounds like your pump is going bad, you are steadily losing pressure and the pump is running all the time. Sorry but this is a sure sign a new pump is on your horizon, with it running all the time it probably won't be long.

- It will work best on porous surfaces like wood. It won't work well on plastic. Read the label for applications

- Well don't expect to walk on the field after a week of practice and be the best one. I have been playing for 8 years, I'm a freshman in high school, I'm 14. I play varsity JV. We have practice everyday for 2+ hours wheather its raining, cold, hot, sleeting, etc., and sometimes on the weekend. I don't have much free time, so if your gonna play for your school or city large then get ready for nonstop pratice. Most people say soccer is that you just run up and down the field and it takes a long time to score. well its not, its more to it when your a player. Its a very contact sport so you may get winded or knocked out but youve gotta get back up to the ball. you need to know how to dribble, run endurance, run for speed, head the ball, chest the ball, kicking when your pressured, defending, shooting, juggling, corner kicks, pks, throw ins. etc etc. You need to know the rules and all the postions. It takes a lot of skills, if you feel like its too much, ask one of the girls to do some one on one with you on the weekend then try out next year. If you put your heart into something, anything is possible.

- Pipe dope (joint compound) does not normally dry out. After it is applied it remains soft and pliable, although with time it will form a crusted surface. The pipe dope is used to form a better seal between the threads of the pipe and the fittings. As the pipe and the fittings change temperatures, the materials will expand and contract. If the pipe dope dried out it would crack and begin to leak over time. By remaining pliable it maintains the seal and prevents leakage.
- Q: how far away you can park away from a fire hydrant?
- any water still in the line won't let the pipe get hot enough for the solder to stick. somewhere below the pipe you need to drain all the water that you can get out of there before trying to solder the pipe. i had a pipe once that had a bow in it, i actually had to cut the pipe at it lowest point in the bow in order to get the water out of there. cleaning ALL joints, inside and out and then using flux should get the job done. good luck to ya.

- I doubt you can. The US alone in the world persists in using IMPERIAL (that's pertaining to the BRITISH empire of course) measures even after we Brits ( who invented them) got smart and went metric - except for beer in pints - that would have been going too far. There may be a progressive US manufacturer switched on to the changing world order outside your shores, or maybe not. Give up the contract to a European company, save yourself some grief.

- Hook is right. The only sure fire way to use a vapor that will not rise. Dry ice in hot water should work nicely. Hope this helps.
