Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.
For the size, now we have 3 series:
1. Out diameters: 16.0, 20.0, 25.4, 32.0, 40.0, 50.8, 63.5, 76.1, 88.9, 108.0 (GB/T 19228.2-2011)
2. Out diameters: 15.88, 22.22, 28.58, 34.0, 42.7, 48.6, 76.1, 88.9, 101.6 (JIS G3448-1980)

Now is there any laws that state how far away each speed bump can be placed and is there a law that permits the height of the bump? - I don't know how big a carb your rotary uses, but if you could find a small Holley carb to replace the current one, you can easily modify it to be boosted (blow through). If you do draw through, it would be a good idea to not run an intercooler. I'd say try to make it blow through, because then you could run an intercooler. But, if you want a cheap easy way to do it, go draw through, as all you'd really need is an adapter to bolt the carb to the turbo inlet and the piping to run the turbo. A MegaSquirt system seems a little too in depth for just a toy. I'd say just be sure you can weld pretty good to make air tight pipe fittings. Outside of that, it's not too difficult as long as you have enough room in the engine bay.

- I would take those with no light down and check for power with a meter by disconnecting them at the wire nuts. They are wired in series so it should be a loose wire at a wire nut somewhere, even if it isn't one of those two. Also, Smoke detectors last generally up to 10 years and should then be replaced. Most have an expiration date on the back of them. If you have one or more going off for no reason, it or they need to be replaced. If they are only chirping, with new batteries installed, then the batteries are bad.

- Try to hit it square and it's just a big bump, most speed bumps have a low/no spot between the bumps for a bike or rain water to get thru. I'm surprised to hear that you broke off the stand, it shouldn't have even hit.
