Q: What is the best combination going to RO: sediment, carbon and resins, or sediment, resins and carbon?: I am a plumber and you do not want to use an all cpvc adaptor you are asking for trouble they will certainly leak. plus it is better to use thread sealent paste rather than the tape this is because the tape has a habit of coming undone when screwing the pipe together. If you mess up and put the tape on in the wrong direction you have to take it off and start over with the paste you don;t you get it right everytime. A Chain Wrench would provide more positive grip, but is more likely to do damage.
