Q: if you move a solar panel or there was a vibration that caused the panel to move, would that affect it?
probably not much. If you had it at an optimal angle to the sun and it vibrated out of that position then you could be loosing some efficiency.
Q: Ok so i can have a problem i have two 5 watt 2 volt solar panels a 2 volt battery and a 400 watt ac 2 volt dc inverter i believe im only getting 5 watts from from my solar panels thats the equivalent of one is there any way i could get full voltage from my solar panels without theoretically burning my wallet.. please help
I think you need to take some basic courses on electricity. Usually, 8 volt solar panels are required to charge 2 volt batteries. The voltages of photovoltaic cells are set by the material they are made of, only current changes. If you hook up a 2 V solar panel to a 2 V battery, no current will flow, nothing would get charged. You would need some elaborate DC to DC voltage converters to charge a 2 V battery from 2 V solar panels. Solar panels can be connected in parallel or in series, as you've made the mistake of buying 2 V solar panel, you would have to wire them in series and have a charge controller that could limit the voltage of the charge. Did it ever occur to you that two 5 watt solar panels would not be able to provide the power needed by a 400 watt inverter? You're just running off your battery with your set up. Solar power is expensive power, you can not have solar without burning a hole in your wallet.

I want to warn you that very few people will need your service. Solar panels look horrible, and do very little. If it was me and i was interested in greener solutions, i would pursue a degree in environmental engineering. I think that in 0 years time that you will see roofers installing solar panels and your local contractor will be installing personal electric windmills. For this reason i do not believe that there will be much of a future in installing solar panels as a low barrier to entry will mean not much profit or job security.

Q: I am currently building a house, iv designed it to be as self sustainable as possible, I'm in the process of installing solar panels but as I'm ordering online I was hoping someone here could tell me how many I would need to completely run a 5 bedroom home, just standard household appliances such as fridge and freezers, plasma tvs computers and of course lighting, various things like that, also I'll need power storage as well, some type of large rechargeable battery, any help would be great.
A typical home in America can use either electricity or gas to provide heat -- heat for the house, the hot water, the clothes dryer and the stove/oven. If you were to power a house with solar electricity, you would certainly use gas appliances because solar electricity is so expensive. This means that what you would be powering with solar electricity are things like the refrigerator, the lights, the compute?r, the TV, stereo equipment, motors in things like furnace fans and the washer, etc. Let's say that all of those things average out to 600 watts on average. Over the course of 24 hours, you need 600 watts * 24 hours = 4,400 watt-hours per day. From our calculations and assumptions abo?ve, we know that a solar panel can generate 70 milliwatts per square inch * 5 hours = 350 milliwatt hours per day. Therefore you need about 4,000 square inches of solar panel for the house. That's a solar panel that measures about 285 square feet (about 26 square meters). That would cost around $6,000 right now. Then, because the sun only shines part of the time, you would need to purchase a battery bank, an inverter, etc., and that often doubles the cost of the installation. If you want to have a small room air conditioner in your bedroom, double everything.
